So, who exactly was this someone?
Let's just say, I was telling him about how I was flirting with you last night, and I think he was a little jealous.

Ah! I would join if I had a microphone...

Geth rocket troopers can double tap a rocket launcher. Just...What?
Most shotguns have to be pumped...With a mass accelerator and thermal clips. I don't even...
The GPSMG fires PLASMA. LOTS and LOTS of PLASMA. It's also one of the worst weapons in the game, along with it's big brother the GPR. The spitfire would be ashamed.
Biotics have long since gone away from any mild justification and are now blatantly space magic, but it's still bad to call them psyonics.

Also, people's insistence that ME guns should mirror real life guns.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go get a glass of water using my nothing but my mind.
They should be more advanced then real life guns. Makes no sense to me a sniper weapon like the javelin requires me to hold down the button. However, I do not want the devs messing with it. I have simply decided in the future they make sniper weapons less advanced then modern day snipers that fire instantly

I'll give the Javelin some room. It's a sniper rifle that fires super-heated ferro-fluid at what, lightspeed? It's got plenty of room to do weird crap.

Everything. The damn game makes no sense at all. Seeker Swarms climbing ladders, enemies shooting you with pin-point accuracy the moment you storm out of cover, stagger locking the stagger lock: the movie, homing projectiles and they magic bullet-like behavior, enemies knowing where your exact position is the moment they spawn, instant-kills, the Geth Prime pets, one-button-does-all garbage and lack of 180° turns on consoles, the dubious live updates (nerf after nerf after nerf, while they neglect the things that need desperate attention ever since, you know, ever), the random store, the way the game went from cover-based tactical shooter to hectic spawn-nuking extravaganza and running around in circles like a headless chicken, and many many more...
The game just ceased to be fun a long time ago. It's just a pointless, repetitive grind. There's just not enough variety in the gameplay (Harrier says hi) to justify playing this with all its design flaws. I play it because it's Mass Effect. I wouldn't be playing this if it weren't for the fact that it's one of the coolest RPGs of this gen. But as a multiplayer game, it sucks. Gotta admit it.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the horribad spawns. Nothing ruins your game faster than having enemies materialize in front of you, or worse: behind you, or fighting 3 Geth Primes on wave 2 on Platinum/Geth/Glacier. Gotta love all this BS.
Haha this made my night. So refreshing to play other multiplayer games were the devs actually balance things 'before' release. See, this is why so many people (like me), flock to simple FPS games. Sure they offer less variety in certain areas but at least I have PvP with different objectives, not getting nerfed every other week, ability to save my replays, & no horrible random store. Still play this game a little and try to overlook all the bad crap.
really sucks these devs made so many mistakes but hopefully they will improve and do better for ME4

Seriously, shield boost is on 6.
6!
You know how many times that cost me my life? Has been frustrating me since the demo. <_<
Edit: Oh, it's been mentioned before but:
No text chat in lobbys and games. Come on.

Also, the stun lock & stagger is a pretty annoying game mechanic. Anything that constantly disrupts the player's ability to provide input is just not fun for the end-user-gamer.
And the "one button does everything" is really annoying too. So bad...

Close-range BEs (Fury, Valkyrie) - were it not for lack of friendly fire...
WHY COULDN'T THEY LABEL thinks as additive or multiplicative so we KNOW (just +50% or x150% is enough of an indicator, people who know numbers should see the difference)
Playing as a geth against the geth... in London (and other kit/enemy/map mashups)
Light materials decrease based on material weight.... but heavy materials increase by a flat 50 (rather than the 50% it claims)
Cooldown in the positives makes little difference.... the slightest cooldown in the negatives is murder... and aren't well communicated ("+200%" means -50%, "+100%" means -25%, "-200%" means +200%... not only are they using positives to indicate a decreased value, the difference either side is massive)
Probably moar things I forgot
