Interesting. I didn't know about this bug, just assumed the weapons were more unstable than I realized. Guess no more off-host TSol for me.:?

I never heard of this one either.  Is this for all evolutions of all Turian passives (Armiger Legion and Turian Veteran)?

This threads been great so far! Defintely been a few things I never heard before.  The whole point of this thread was really to help people avoid builds that won't work properly.  The Tactical Scan headshot and Batarian Blade Armor issues were biggies for me.

Geth Bombers have an immunity to the first power thrown at it if it's taken no damage previously, though I'm unsure if it's only Overload/Energy Drain or all powers. Can someone with better knowledge clarify?

There are severe sync issues with Tactical Cloak: In high latency matches a player's Cloak state can get confused very easily, leading to long cool downs.

Cryo Explosions are also bugged. Chilled targets are not primed for cryo explosions, except when chilled by Snap Freeze. Snap Freeze is probably what's bugged, but CEs on chilled targets is the preferable behavior.

Here is one you missed Banshee can some times sync kill behind a wall, on a platform above or below you, and acn grab on a incline.

Updated initial post. It would be awesome if this got stickied or acknowledged in some positive way by Bioware. I'd hate to see all this disappear or worse, get deleted by Bioware. I know some companies hate it when things like this are pointed out.

I know why I love that N7 Paladin so much now though.

1. Well, that explains a great deal. I didnt know the source of this glitch.
2. In the case of stasis, this happens to geth rockets troopers too, when they do their double rocket glitch. I used stasis on a rocket trooper just as he fired a rocket. But then he launched off a second rocket after clearly being trapped in stasis.

There is another map based issue I have observed more than once. On Rio, enemies sometimes get stuck behind the ladder nearest to the LZ (probably happens with other ladders too). I was playing on Rio today and on one of the waves, there was only an engineer left. We couldnt find him until the announcer said only one enemy left. We tried to kill him with powers and weapons but couldnt. Eventually I remembered I had a predator with peircing mod to deal with guardians. So I pulled that out and disposed off that engineer.

Also, geth turret power. Not sure if this only happens to me. Sometimes throwing the geth turret does nothing, almost like grenade lag issue where the character swings the arm but the grenade does go out. The FQI's turrets deploy just fine.

scions still do double damage.
bioware put out a fix for this which halved the base damage of scion's cannon shot.
This did not fix the root bug of the cannon still periodically causing double damage.

so if your wondering why that scion shot downed you when last time it only did oh about half as much. there is your answer.

As I said, it's only off-host, and not even always. I haven't seen solid proof of this, but it seems to be a wide-accepted thing here on bsn.

Also, there are other little corrections I already pointed out in my previous post.

If I recall correctly, Cyonan tested that and you are wrong. The visual effect doesn't work off-host, but you still get the DR.

I've actually had greater issues with the Quarian's turret falling through the floor repeatedly - I'll throw, the turret is visible during the throw, and then it just falls through the floor.  I've thrown it half a dozen times in a row because it just.wouldn't.set.up.

Immunity to sync-kills when at a different height than your foe (they still hit like a freight train though).

If you mash "the button to rule them all" while being sync-killed, and you die (by another enemies fire), you are instantly resurrected without using up any medi-gel

- Drell cannot do a heavy melee instantly when running and taping the melee button. Everyone else can.
- Batarian Slasher also has human voice clips.
- Light melee attacks sometimes miss but you can still hear the sound effect telling you it has connected. This is especially grating when using Armiger Turians and the Shadow, but happens with every character.
- Frag Grenade armor and shield damage evos give 1.5x damage bonus each instead of the stated 1.75x damage.
- Recon Mine does not decloak when used on the Drell Assassin. Sometimes the Recon Mine animation is shown, but the mine itself is not shot.
- The GE's Geth Turret acts as both Sentry Turret and Geth Turret, as shown in the killfeed.
- FEs primed with the Paladin's Fire Shield detonate on the shield itself and not on the enemy.
- Geth Bombers sometimes completely negate powers. Not exclusive to Overload.
- Shadow Strike also ceases to work against other bosses, like Geth Primes. Not exclusive to Atlases. Happens off-host.
- Turian Ghost is able to shoot an entire clip of the Striker without decloaking, getting the full damage bonus if you start shooting first and cloak after.
- 3 Geth Primes spawn on wave 2 on Geth/Platinum/Glacier-White. Don't know if this happens on other maps.
- Geth Prime turrets still phase through walls at great distances.
- Harrier has worse kick-back when used in hard cover.

That's all that I can remember atm. I'm not sure if they fixed the armor boost evo in Energy Drain, which wasn't working off-host before the patch.

These are the most annoying to me. ME3 MP has been a VERY buggy experience overall. I'm playing on Win 7. :(

- Seemingly endless searching for game. Takes entirely too long to time out.

- Can't use hard cover at Rio extraction site.

- Sometimes ammo boxes don't refill ammo (and grenades, too, really sucks for a Drell adept ;) ).

These 4 seem to happen at the same time for me
- Enemies are invulnerable to your gunfire and powers
- Enemies ignore you
- Powers pass through targets and fly off screen
- Sometimes can't activate powers

- Host migration rarely works - usually takes me back to the lobby

- Justicar reave stops working regularly. Enemies are not primed visually, and sometimes act as if pulled instead (and no I did not press the wrong button. ;) )

Sometimes when using a kishock harpoon rifle and looking in the scope and throwing ballistic blades, the game starts to go into scope mode every time you fire off the ballistic blades.

So I ran into a bug a couple days ago. I was working on my Vanguard characters when I decided to switch to the Volus. It gave me a ton of Power points to apply so I did. I noticed I was nearly able to fill every last bar in the tree. I ran out just before I could apply the last one. I haven't played much of my Volus characters so I thought maybe this was just a perk due to their low health and shields.

Well the next day I got on and took a look at my powers and I saw this:

Notice my negative power points, probably from all the extra I had applied before, which apparently I wasn't supposed to have. Has anyone else run into this problem?

It's a known bug. Don't use that character or you may be banned for that. I think the solutions are promote the class or use a respec card.

Oh... crap. I'll do that first thing when I get home. No respec card unfortunately. Oh well, not worth getting banned, this is my favorite MP game.

Shooting enemies point blank with shotguns (Pirahna, Geth Plasma Shotgun, Reager, Evisorator) often has absolutely no effect which makes no sense. Of all weapons, shotguns should hit point blank and not have any sniper rifle from the hip mechanic that lowers damage.

Powers too often do not hit targets.

Target brackets often change rapidly from one target to another so from the time you aim and pick a target to the time you actually depress the button to fire a weapon or a power you hit a target you were not intending to hit.

Enemies seem to be more accurate with weapons and powers than the most elite snipers. This is a little odd since even so called lower ranked troops can do this.

Cerberus now seems to have the same or perhaps a more powerful Geth stagger shot. This leads me to think it is either a bug, or Bioware intends to make all enemies exactly alike each other which leaves the use of many strategies and many fun factors in the dust.

Enemy spawns are warped. The enemy often spawns literally on top of players or right beside them. It was bad enough or strange enough to see from a distance enemies appear out of thin air, but now they materialize right in front or behind you. Does Mass Effect enemies have Transporters? Why does Shepard need the landing craft then?

Some powers still have trouble connecting to any targets such as powers that are supposed to be a wide area attack or range attack and not have to hit everything in its path with pinpoint accuracy on between their eyes. The powers I mean are such as the biotic slash and electric slash.

Some old glitches/bugs are either getting worse or much more prominent and noticeable due to the recent changes in the game. For example, the X button, you turn to run from a oncoming enemy or enemy attack and inexplicably take cover and therefore turn yourself into a proverbial sitting duck for those enemies you were trying to escape from. In the real world, a human would make such a mistake rarely, but a so called elite soldier as depicted in the game would rarely if ever make such a mistake. Another example, the screwed up OPS function. What is the purpose of this consumable? It works the least of any consumable. Some 75% of the time, when I need to use it and do, it does absolutely nothing. The item will be treated as used but no benefit will be delivered. Medipacks are too often wasted. When you need to use them most you are shot dead or insta killed as soon as you use it, even sometimes before you see the animation to stand. Missiles still take a bit too long sometimes to be armed by a player. Now, with the previous game this was only annoying, but with the changes and greater emphasis on button mashing style of fighting over RPG strategy style fighting, this is becoming a greater annoyance and is standing out more as such.

I would rather have a 3rd power than the useless and bugged to hell OPS pack function. I would almost rather have another power or weapon for the missile button and then have the weapon change button cycle include the missile launcher, and use that button for something more useful and consistent like taking cover. Hold one button while you hit X for taking cover would be much more appreciated than the random crap we get now. The revive function is still bugged to hell as well. Even when standing directly over a fallen comrade it is a virtual crapshoot whether your character will actually revive your ally, and if you can not get your character to do that, you can get flack from the other players if they are not friends you play with frequently.

If medipack operation must stay as it is, can we at least get some greater response/reaction time with a greater invulnerable duration, at least enough to stand up and arm a missile and maybe even fire it with quick fingers since this is often what is needed. If reaction time is consistent with actual human reaction time this should not be very long. The greatest delay is the stand up animation you have to wait on to do a thing. I might also add, should you not get freaking full health back and perhaps shields if you do revive with a medipack? If a team mate revives you, I might expect to have at least half health and shields.

If the OPS is kept as it is, can we at least get some increased response/reaction time and actually get the health if we activate it within say a second of attack or the last health bar? Because something in the game is badly mistimed when you can either hit the OPS health refill before such an attack and therefore should get it but don't, OR you perhaps do not hit it in time but it still subtracts one of your rare OPS packs. OPS packs is used more than medipacks yet is much much rarer to acquire and you get them in smaller numbers.

Fix the Missiles. Lately, they are missing even point blank and right at targets just in front of you. Perhaps this is because Bioware either limited the number of targets one can kill or because they shrunk the area of damage to much to be of much practical use.

Fix the enemy power attacks. How on earth can enemy power attacks follow you all over a map even when you run, dodge, or take cover? What is the point of taking cover if the enemy can shoot totally through or around all forms of cover? Isn't moving players from cover supposed to be the job of units such as the BRUTE?? So why do they need to shoot through every cover and around them? Does that not defeat the purpose of the anti cover units? Why do units have illogical functions? Such as the Geth bomber? This one makes me laugh. The freaking Geth bomber is the best Geth melee unit. It is like getting a home run in golf.

I can't say I understand the ban players for playing a broken game mentality.  If it is a malfunction, fix it.  Some of those bugs the players have absolutely no control over so why should they get banned if it happens?
