I'd wait for an eventual discount. Hell, as it stands you can get ME3 new for around the $15-20 price range.

The Pinnacle Station of Mass Effect 3.
You get to run round and shoot stuff in one bug filled experience.
Comparing it to Pinnacle is to harsh, Omega got a story after all, just not a branching one. More like a shooter.
Gears of war comes to my mind. Do we have GoW fans here?

I wasn't all that thrilled with it and found it unconvincing within the context of the greater story as compared to both From Ashes and Leviathan (both of which were great and expanded upon the story and the Reapers). By contrast Omega doesn't adds anything to the story and I find it hard to believe that Shepard, a commander of the Alliance who is tasked with uniting the galaxy against the Reapers, would take a detour like this just to help Aria reclaim her "throne" in Omega just to win a couple of war assets (never mind that in the main campain you had already obtained three different armies from her).

I liked the DLC. Some bugs need to be fixed but I overall liked it, I would say...7/10. Bugs get fixed and I will give it the last 3 points for a perfect 10.

Con - There were more seams showing animation wasn't finished/was bugged. Action is flat. It adds little to the story.
Pro - The scenery was spectacular. 2.5 new characters. Aria as a squadmate.
??? - There is a big ??? about Aria in the conflict resolution.

War Asset Entry | Alien: "Aria's couch is most comfy. Given its component of Feng Shui, Aria's couch, if properly aligned in Afterlife, Purgatory or Aria's dreadnought will help her to be a superior tactician. It's also a great place to pass out. +15 points..."Grubas wrote...

It was overpriced and a bit underwhelming, really.
I enjoyed some of the combat and writing, but Aria was annoying, Nyreen was wasted as a character and the DLC lacked the spark and charm of something like Lair of the Shadow Broker. It's a servicable mission pack, but not amazing - and it certainly doesn't give a compelling reason for its 1200 MSP pricetag.
Edit: As others have said, some of the environments are spectacular. I did feel the integration with the main story was fairly weak and implausible, and it all feels a bit pointless when all is said and done.

Quite enjoyed it but not enough time with Nyreen in the squad and little story added, plus I think the bioware should adda change that allows adjutants into the main game as otherwise it makes no sense for them to be at Omega but no where else!
Also should have made it so you can go back to Omega...

All you do is shoot things. It was pretty boring. However the "story" moments were well worth it.
One of my not so favourite DLCs of ME.

Really? Seemed very similar to Arrival, so why the big discrepancy?

is Mass Effect 3 Omega dlc worth getting
My opinion is irrelevant.
If you like Aria, yes.
If you don't like Aria it has very little to offer you.

I like Aria but in small doses. Omega DLC had too much and I just got annoyed by her.

It was fun but buggy. I got sick of watching Aria slide all over the screen (someone posted it above). I would have liked to fight something else besides Cerberus. You get to see some people from Me2 like Harrot, and you get to see Omega again. That is all.
