I'm level 10 rogue/1 bard half elf chaotic good

I cant remember why I have the1 level of bard part, i might have started as bard and used a char editor to switch to rogue.

I mainly use my character as a rouge archer and then for traps, locks, pickpocket, high charisma for displomacy and something like bluf fi think.

I don't stealth because I hate moving so slow as stealth, hmm is there a mod to make me move faster while stealthed :D?

I am trying to figure out how to level up from here out.  There are some unique class options popping up like arcane archer and stuff.  Are any of those worth getting to make me more effective in combat?  I seem to be ok in combat but not spectacular as an archer.

I do want to keep my trap/lock pick up and i like to have the diplomacy and interactive skills to keep my verbal options open when talking to NPCs.

Any suggestions?

What level are you aiming for? 20? 30?

Arcane Archer is good, yes. You'll need another bard level to be able to take it, and you can take Able Learner so that you can continue increasing your rogue skills.

Shadowdancer or assassin are your best options for a fourth class, as they'll let you stealth more easily and take advantage of your sneak attacks.

Maybe you can put your character here, to see how it looks like so far (which feats have you taken, etc.).

Not to my knowledge, but some classes (barbarian, monk, some cleric domains...) have speed increases which also work when stealthed. As I said, I don't recommend these classes for this specific character, though.

Or you can cheat and give yourself this hidden feat (I don't know what you need to type in the console exactly), or "Camouflage", a ranger feat which  allows them to move at full speed when sneaking,

Swift and Silent is Feat 1465. Camouflage is 1772.

... or use your editor, of course (more trouble that way, though).

I don't think either will do what you want, though. If you need to stealthily rush around, Haste is your friend.

You took the Bard level to get the Inspiration.  You are using it, aren't you?

p.s. Shame, shame if you truly have a Rogue-based character and didn't make your 1st level Rogue. I may have to give one of my current characters all those extra skill points you lost just to restore balance to the multiverse.

Thanks for the infos. Yeah I am not to anal about things being perfect, i didnt feel like starting over when i switched to rogue with the character editor. Of course I still just know enough to be dangerous.

I played D&D PNP for years since the 70s but dont know the newer systems as well and of course the game is not exactly same sas PNP.

Its still a great game though for as old as it is.

I wish I could create a level 12 char and import it into my campaign but I dont even know if thats possible or worth the hassle.

Oh, it's possible. As for worth the hassle ... that's an entirely different question. You'll just blow through the monsters for much of the game, but you'll still have to do all the quests and so on. Also, since you seem to be playing the OC (mining ore, for example), it will set all the NPC companions to your PC's level, so they will also be mighty - but you won't have much say in their leveling.

Yeah I am playing normal mode and its pretty easy but there are some fights that are tough, like the spell caster boss in the bottom of the cemetary in the NW noble district. I guess i'll just leave it as is. No challenge at all would be bad. Thanks.
