I would say yes for personality no one can beat Garrus for loyalty and support (well maybe Tali can) and Liara does well as your confident. They way LI fshep x Garrus worked in giving and reciving comfort and feedback was pure gold and should be used going forward with LIs of the hero. I don't see why BW won't carry over the personalities of Garrus, Tali, and Liara as the series goes on maybe make a human Liara personal clone ect different skins similar personalities.

Yes, I dig it. To me one of the most important parts of ME is just derping around with garbus and liara.

Garrus is the perfect Squad Mate, Liara is not. She was fine in Mass Effect 1, but even there I felt she better suited a non-combat role rather than as a squad mate.

They got the most use for me in the series. Liara and Garrus or Liara & Wrex were my go to teams in ME1. The others pretty much only saw use on side mission.

I used less in ME2 since on the loyalty missions you only got to pick one squadmate and had one mandatory one. I loved Kasumi so I used her a lot, Miranda some too.

ME3, it was all Liara and Garrus for the most part, especially before I got Ash back. Then I used Ash some as well.

I found Liara to just be a powerhouse who could control the field if used correctly.

My favourites to take along, the majority of the time...

ME1 - Kaidan and a rotation of the others, mostly Garrus and Liara
ME2 - Miranda and Mordin
ME3 - Kaidan and a rotation of the others, mainly Javik and Garrus

Their abilities complement my soldier!Shep well. I know there are other characters who'd complement her well too, but I also pick squaddies because I like having them along.

No. Garrus's weapon and power suite are completely dwarfed by Ashley's, then by Thane, then by Ashley again. Liara's pretty damn awsome in Me1 especially paired with a biotic shepard and Kaidan., but Miranda and Samara are the best biotic squadmates of the serise due to Miranda's passive and Samara's version of Reave before it was nerfed for ME3.

ME1 was all wrex. wrex and which ever techie i felt was lucky enough to hang. usually garrus, never tali. wrex adn anyone would be my favorite.

ME2 was alot of miranda cuz of dat ass, and i tried everyone out, though grunt and legion were my favorite probably. its too bad that setup is limited.

ME3 i used my LI which was ashley as much as possible and tried everyone out, leaning more on garrus to fill the maybe missions.

For me, Garrus and Miranda. Garrus and Javik. Everyone else is irrelevant.
