It seemed I got some closure for more minor characters. But not the ones that I truly cared about! I like Major Coats, but I don't care if he's helping rebuild. I'm sure everyone is. /endrant
I wish character time was made out of bricks. Then I could dismantle characters like Coats and Allers and give more time for, I dunno, Kaidan.

Wish I could move all those Allers bricks over to Emily Wong.

It's a shame how some characters just get forgotten because the fanbase didn't take note of them. Lorik Quin is another example.

OOH LE BLASPHEMY!!!1 HOW COULD U LIKE MOAR ME2 THAN ME3!
I do that when someone states ME2 has better "writing" than ME3. Do not confuse.
Plus, I like to have fun Linkenski, look at what happened last time with erezike.

So you agree that better writing or not (as I've said that doesn't matter to me personally), ME2 is more fun than ME3?
ME3 is more fun, gameplay-wise, than ME2.
But yeah man, ME2 is fun.

Edit: I saw the bit about the Suicide Mission and I agree.

But up until I got to Citadel DLC I didn't experience the same Pwnage Overload as the Suicide Mission. It's funny when you think about it, they wanted to make Kai Leng a main villain, all they had to do was make a NegaShepard.
I still miss Harby though,

Controls, combat system, weapons, everything is by far superior in Me3, and honestly that's what I like the most about Mass Effect, being out in the field, shooting
Edit: You only hate Kai Leng because he's a FF villain, not because he's not a challenge, one of the really good ones in the game to be honest

I have no experience with FF so I don't know about Kai Leng being a FF villain. Respectively, he's not really a challenge if you've got enough shield-killers on the team.
Soldier NegaShepard vs Soldier Shepard and Fatal Error? Those are challenges.

LM: Loyalty Missions. You know, the short stories. People like short stories. Sometimes more than big ones.

People love Me2 because of story and the fact that is doesnt have the Me3 ending. Other than that Me3 is superior, you can't (with any brain functionality at all) think that Me2 is better when just looking at actuall gameplay.

Kai Leng is an easy fight. Apart from that avoidable pulse cannon attack, he only dodges and tries to sword swipe you. As long as Shepard and friends maintain constant damage on him he poses no threat.
Edit: I actually prefer ME2's combat. In ME3 Shepard get a huge combat buff, lightning fast recharge speeds, power combos, powerful weapons, etc. The speed and efficiency in which enemies can be dispatch makes fights much easier.

I don't get when people think that the combat is the meat of Mass Effect... surely it's what you do the majority of the time in ME3, but in ME2 it was evened out with more dialogues, which were actually interactive. I consider the dialgoue wheel to be just as a vital gameplay mechanic as combat, and the way I feel about ME3 is that it got more Gears-of-War-y with longer action sections and more stupid setpieces, but it got massively nerfed on player choice regarding the dialogue wheel. It's largely absent when running around talking to people on the normandy, on the citadel, and well, there's another problem. No hubs to explore other that those mentioned. But when it does show up there's just too much autodialogue.Straken-SWE wrote...

The minigames were streamlined away, and somehow Bioware thought scanning cluelessly for artifacts was more satisfying than scanning random planets for resources which you could actually do whenever you wanted to, and it wasn't overly scripted.
Anyway, back to your quote. I don't deny shooting is fun, but every other game I own of this gen has some kind of FPS or TPS control scheme in it, and I'm just so tired of it. ME1 and ME2 just evened their linear corridor segments (mostly attributed ME2!) out more with hub areas and choices to make. ME3 is sometimes twice as long in combat segments and then the cutscene is just a cutscene. Also the combat in ME3, while responsive and all, feels like what DA2 was to DA:O. It's better to control but the actions the characters can make are a bit excessive sometimes so it kinda hurts the sense of realism at times.
BTW: One of my favorite missions of ME3 is Sur'Kesh. 1) It's not overly long, 2) You actually get to run around casually without your friggin gun out like every other missions (-Gellix) and there are so many people to talk to in that one little area. Best of all, IT'S OPTIONAL! ME3 really lacked this in general, but in this one mission it was present and I just love it, also because the dialogues themselves are interesting.

1. Horrible ending throws all 90 hours of gameplay out the window for cliche creators and created nonsense and DLC marketing.
2. Practically no focus on the VS (Ashley)
3. Pop in 2D textures made to represent soldiers
4. Horrible and or reused animations
5. No Harbinger
6. Liara plot armor maximized
7. Lack of choice
8. Auto-dialogue
9. Unbalanced multiplayer that gets old after two tries
10. Feels rushed, story and combat spin all over as if developers weren't really sure what they wanted to do.....Oh yeah and that original script that was a thousand times better that got scrapped.
