I have the trilogy edition and have finished ME 1. Just started ME 2 today and found that you can only manage and equip items at an armory. There also doesn't seem to be any possible way to equip your squad with armor. Can someone please explain this to me???

Yep. It's a vastly simplified system. People didn't like the inventory management in ME1 so instead of improving it they more or less got rid of it. In ME2 you can only change weapon loadouts in the Normandy's armoury, before a mission/assignment and at any weapons lockers you happen to find while you're out there (most missions don't have one), and squadmate armour simply isn't your concern at all. Their shields and health will improve as you level up though.

Thanks. By the way, what is your armor preference like? I'm just at the begining of the game but i think the N7 armor is the best. Not only is it customizable paint and parts wise but mainly becoz it reminds me so much of my explorer armor from ME1. I love that armor. Don't want anything to do with DLC armor e.g. Cerberus, Blood Dragon Armor, etc.You can't even customize them.

Depends a lot on Shepard's class. I tend to go with things that increase shields and/or health and decrease power cool downs when I'm going to be casting powers mostly. Inferno is pretty god here. For more weapons reliant Shepards I mix and match and look for combinations that boost shields a bit but also increase ammo capacity or heavy weapons ammo, or increase storm speed or reduce cool downs again. So it kind of depends on the mission as well .

In a future note, if you haven't played ME3 yet, there will be some armor with upgrades already in them for your squadmembers.

Cool! Now thats what i'm talkin about. Yay for squad armor in ME 3! Hey, are the documentary, soundtrack and art work bonus content for ME2 located in-game?? I found them in the origin ME 2 games folder directory in my PC. Is it ok to open them???

I'm the same, I like the customizable armour, more for aesthetic reasons than anything else, though I rarely use the default N7 parts. I tried playing with the Cerberus armour when I got it, but watching Shepard casually talk to Aria T'Loak while wearing full assault gear including helmet was just too silly for me to take seriously.
