Does anybody think maybe 2 would be bad or make the game too watered down? Maybe then Specializations could be more than 1 line. Just wishful thinking.
More than 1 talent point per level?

that would be too powerful, and would remove the sense of specializing a character--warriors for instance would be able to get almost everything if not everything, thus making a DW warrior the same as a 2H, just a matter of equipment and stats.

Yeah I guess thats right. I was just thinking that if certain Specs were more than 1 line long, but none are so I guess the point is moot.

I thought it might have been been better to get two talent points for levels 1-8, one for levels 9-16 and one every other level for levels 17-24. Since the game is a little front loaded for difficulty due to lack of vital talents on a character, but when you consider companions come pre-leveled and attribute requirements for talents might have to be retooled, it probably would be more trouble than it's worth. Still I think the game might have been a bit better if low level characters were a bit closer in power to high level characters than they are now. It's not as bad as D&D, but I think it could be better.

i would be all in favor of that. I'd love for the expansion to add another line of abilities for each specialization

i think that the 2 points up to level 8-10 is a good idea

They would have to expand the action bar to two rows. I already am out of room, and I'm only like lvl 17 or so, not even with any items.
I don't really think we need more spells/talents, though. You can get a solid selection.

Try PS3. welcome to 6 action bar slots.
Edit: I would also like a lot more passive selections, to alter your character subtly.

I would love more passive talents as well--especially for mages. There's a danger of overdoing it, and going back to the D&D warriors/rogues who *only* get passive bonuses.
