Is there any way to download/run the toolset on your PC without having a PC copy of DAO?

I have the ps3 version, but would really like to check the toolset out, at least. I understand I won't get to implement any of my creations into the game -_- but it might still be fun to play with the program.

Is it possible??

You must have Dragon Age: Origins (PC) registered to download or use the Dragon Age Toolset.

The Dragon Age: Origins Toolset can only be installed on a machine that already has the full Dragon Age: Origins game installed. You must have a registered copy of the game to use these toolset downloads.

Humbug.

The reason the toolset needs the game installed is that the toolset uses the various resources of the game - models, textures and such. Wiyhout those resources you wouldn't be able to do anything interesting with the toolset.

That would be awesome.

:x

And I just tried downloading the toolset, bypassing the registration key or w/e page(on this very site, don't ban me!)

Was able to download, was not able to run.

The beta would be very fun. Off to look for that, lol. Its just that recently everyone playing Bayonetta and MW2 ... Well, its cutting into my DAO time, dangit! So I gotta get my fix elsewhere. >.<

The beta toolset had a fraction of the game's resources and no client until the last 2 weeks of beta. It really is impossible to get much done with no way of testing it in game.

Piracy is bad. This is why we cannot have nice things.

Please do not try to illegally obtain a copy of any betas.
