Can you perhaps explain the meaning of that one word? Or maybe give me a link? Because right now, unlike me, you don't have anything to back up your claims.

This is two-side relation.

It shows many things not only about ME3, but also about people willing to scream almost year because of videogame.

That just shows that your not passionate about video games.

Iam passionate of  video games because they are apart of my life since 1987, it is a hobby that is every bit apart of my life as anything else. I have met the greatest life long friends ever in my life thanks to video games...and I consider them to be my own brothers and family, and gaming helps brings us together.

For you, it mite be just a past time but for others its apart of themselves.

I don't think you know the meaning of that word.

Mass Effect 1 - $60
Mass Effect 2 - $60
Mass Effect 3 - $80
Mass Effect Multiplayer Points (Bought in anticpation of the ending) - $20
Mass Effect books - Around $30
Mass Effect smart phone games - about $20
Mass Effect DLCs - about $70

Altogether $340 give or take, excluding taxes and the few action figures I bought to "support" the franchise.  So yeah, I'm still pretty miffed.  The ending not only made me regret spending that money, but made me believe it was a complete waste.  Had Mass Effect 1 had a simular ending as part 3, I would not have invested that amount in the series.  That is how bad I view the conclusion of the ending.  Keep in mind, I am glad some people like it, I do not begrudge anyone who does.  I WISH I liked it so I wouldn't feel like a idiot that wasted my cash.  No matter how good the previous games were, I look back on them and see them ruined by the ending.  You mention Mass Effect, I think "God-awful, franchise ruining ending."  Wish I didn't, but there it is.

Heeeeey, what's wrong with being a minoritah?

Absolutely nothing.

I just feel it's important to remind everyone of the FACT, that the people who don't like the ending is a very very very vocal minority. Again, there's nothing wrong with that.

And people like you act like you're a majority, which isn't supported by anything but some petty polls voted by a few thousands at best.

So...stop spreading bulls**t.

Well, it is nice how fast you made assuptions about me.

I'm gamer since Atari in 90's - in former eastern block was problem got computer earlier. I'm playing much and I'm discussing with my friends about games regulary. And I'm f.e. so non-passionate that I skipped sleep when Omega was released and spend 21 hours in row by translating it for our ME fans and I did it for free.

You should object that I like ME3 so I don't understand to them. Well, I had similar experience when JoWood and Spellbound totally screwed Gothic series with Arcania. Did I spend year by complaining about it? Threatening to Spellbound? Hell, no and it was one of my most favourite series with many playthroughs.

You can be both passionate and rational person, it's just question of your inner balance.

Thanks for clearing that up.

However, being on here still does not mean that we are irrational(at least not all of us). I can tell you one thing....that because of "us" game devs will know how NOT to deal with your fan base and damage control.

You know things are bad when you, as a writer, manage to transform a Lovecraftian horror in a misguided AI in one or two sentences.

When you say Kai Leng is a badass.

When you kill an important character off-game (twitter...really?)

I can go on...

You know things are bad when you write a non-planned DLC to explain your own bad writing, only to prove you are indeed a bad writer.

You know things are bad when "Die in futility" becomes a legitimate, and in many cases preferred ending for Shepard.

Did I say everyone here acting irrational? I purposufelly used OP's word "scream" to point only on that hysterical part of BSN - on this "screaming minority", which involves just frament of both pro- and anti-enders.

I haven't problem with people point out mistakes. I'm just disgust by self-righteous fanatics attacking others with different opinions or acting like mob in front of Frankenstein castle.

It's just a vocal minority. Doesn't matter much.

Your argument falters in the extreme hypothetical that there is actually a "silent majority" out there

The whole vocal minority argument is there fore intangible and worthless because neither side can prove, or provide reasonable evidence beyond conjecture, that such a minority or majority exists.

The whole argument seems to be used to either dismiss opinions (ignoring) or to get a reaction out of people

What bothers me more is that some how being a "vocal minority" makes our opinions any less important that the "standard gamer" the whole thing is arrogance at the highest level.

And things are also bad when people cut out and simplified part of someone's claim, made it in mocking memo and use it as fact in different meaning - like artistic integrity.

Vocal Minority is the few people left defending Bioware. Sadly it's not a good source of money, which is needed to keep a studio.

Right... vocal minority.  A self propragating lie with no evidence to back up such an assertion.  We are not a minority.
