After I finished the promotions challenge, I realized one more promotion would get me to N7 3000 even.  Despite hating promotions and all that is associated with them by this time, I went ahead and did it.  Now that I'm sitting at 3000, I keep thinking 5000 isn't that far off, and 5 is a better number than 3.

Anyway, why is your N7 rating what it is right now?  Are you chasing a ranking on the leaderboard?  Are you in the middle of the promotion challenge?  Do you not care?  Do you smoke a lot of the so-called "reefer"?

I keep stopping, then I promote one class and have fun leveling it up again and not being able to fall back on powers and passives and then I promote all my other classes.. The cycle continues.

You won't be able to stop at 5000 with all characters at level 20.

As for my N7 ranking, I'm going to finish the N7 challenge and bring all my characters to the same amount of promotions. My ending N7 ranking will be 2280. I am currently at 1557.

Re: 5000, I hadn't thought that far ahead, and at first I thought you were telling me I was compulsive.  

2280 isn't round enough, is it?  Maybe a little more...

210 when i stopped promoting or something like that. 300 then 360 after promoting for some weekend challenges. decided to go for N7 mastery and now it's 2130. i'm glad i won't be promoting anytime soon.

My N7 is 4,150. I don't expect it to exceed 4,200 ever. I might do one more to make it to a nice number like 4,200 rather than 4,170, but after that challenge, **** promotions. Hard.

I like doing lots of different characters and character builds. Far more than respec cards would ever allow. Ergo, I promote. Plus, I really enjoy taking a character from level 1 to level 20 and the different game play required for the nerf end of the spectrum versus the fully skilled character.

So, I have a high N7 number. At best, I am an average player, but I have a lot of fun, which for me is the whole point. But I will fully attest to a high N7 rating not meaning a better player, just a fairly experienced one that promotes often. There are less experienced players out there who are far better than me, there are some of the game's best players that seldom promote, that have far lower N7 numbers than me.

Bottom line, for me my N7 rating is a function of how I approach the game, which is to promote often and rebuild my characters from scratch. Really nothing else.

N7 1204. I go months without promoting and just use those reset power cards. I'll try for different maps to get the "Nomad" banner, but that's about as much as I care to do. I prefer just doing whatever it is I feel like and don't worry so much about my N7 and so on.

I'll get just as many promotions required for the N7 challenge, then stop.

Also all my classes need to be promoted the same amount of times because OCD.

I only promote for a weekend challenge. The minor challenges mean nothing to me but a commendation pack is always nice.
