So, i have the CE of DA:O on XBOX 360 and it wont let me log in. Everytime i put in the email adress associated with this site and the password, it just says please try again. So I created another one through this site and it just says the same thing.

I would really like to use some downloadable content, that is why i bought the collectors edition, but i cant download anything til it lets me log in.

Anyone know what the eff is up with this?

They might be pulling their servers down and fixing the problem then

Well hopefully thats the case because i would like to play the game that i purchased with the stuff that i paid for.

I too had this issue - playing XBOX 360 version - unable to login to game servers at initial game launch... Maybe they were overloaded ???



I would love to get confirmation that all is well and up and running again...

still not working for me

ive even set my ps3 up to run as a DMZ, so the problems got nothing to do with routers or port forwarding

and its a really weird problem too

if you put in the wrong username or password, it tells you that you've made a mistake



but with the right username and password all it says is 'please try again'

im getting really sick of seeing that message

Okay, I'm not sure if this is related or not, but when I try to log in from my game using the same email and password as the site, it tells me the password is invalid. I've tried this over and over again and no luck. I can log into the website with no problems, but it tells me the password is invalid when I try it in the game.

edit: Never mind, I guess. I tried to reset my password to something new and it let me log in with that. Odd that it wouldn't take the old one for some reason... I guess if anyone else runs into this problem, try reseting your password.

Yeah, the password thing didnt work...the server is ridiculous!! It recognizes wrong password inputs but when its the right one, it just says please try again. WTF Bioware, I love your games but when my purchase is hindered byt an issue such as this, i get angry.  I mean c'mon, it wont even let me create an account, ive tried 4 different emails already and nothin. It just say display name already used when i know for sure that it hasnt.

The frustrations just keep building because this problem has yet to be resolved. Please Bioware/EA games, can you fix this?

Well I had that same problem on DA;O release day and just as I was putting in my last code to redeem the wolf charm it said it had connections issues after that it took me around 4 tries to connect. Once I connected everything worked. Now it seems Its fine when I play the game (havent played today) but I cant get the screenshots and character profiles to work. Oh and I used my GAMESPY/EA Games online account. it worked..

i just used the log in when windows start option the read me has here it is .

If you would like the Dragon Age Updater service to run when your

system starts, follow these steps:

- Run "services.msc" from the Run menu option in Windows. Pressing

the Windows key + "r" will bring this up. (NOTE: services.msc

controls essential components of Windows. Errors in configuration

can prevent the system from operating correctly. Any changes you

make in services.msc are at your own risk.)

- Find the "Dragon Age: Origins Updater" service in the list.

- Double-click on the service to bring up the properties.

- Press the "Start" button if the service is not currently running.

- Change "Startup type:" to "Automatic".

- Close the properties and Services interface.

Whatever the problem is, it's system specific. My backup PC cannot log me in. This one works, the game PC in the bedroom works, I don't know about the one in the shop, or the one in the Living Room, yet.  

It just loops back to where I start, running some dead end script. I want to use this machine to get started, for a variety of reasons, but I also don't want much of anything running in the background, such as AV, Internet, PM, etc.  

While I'm running the game, and want to take a break, I would prefer to use my File and printer server PC for 'net surfing purposes, but right now, that does not include visiting the Social Forum!

I didn't even get a chance to put in my email or password it said something like 'Server error' flashed up for a second then dissapeared, now I just spent a long time trying to find a damn 'login button' apparently there isn't one. Great.
