If there are a few things we are sure of it's:
- ME4 will not involve Shepard or pandas.
- ME4 will not be based on a mod or other fan fiction.
There's a million other things to discuss about ME4... whyyyy this.

Or do something like "Shadows Of The Emprie", and make a parallel storyline. Or Better yet, Vice City Stories.

Why instead didn't Casey worked to give ME3 many different excellent endings? I've played and loved the whole ME saga (one of my favourite games saga) and how it finished? With a non-ending like that and without considering players' previous choices in the previous chapters!
I don't want to say "This is ****, ME is now ****" etc. 'cause I've loved BW and ME very much, but what I really think is that BW (Casey ?) made a very very big mistake.
I didn't buy any DLC and I can't replay any ME right now since I know that the saga finishes in a very ugly and nonsensed way! How sad!
With a good ending* in ME3, players would have been more encouraged also in buying a "ME4" prequel! Now instead, many of them (including me) won't buy any further DLC\\Prequel etc for this (ruined?) saga.
Still hoping the last DLC will influence the ending (in that case I'd probably buy also the other DLC released for ME3), but I'm losing my trust in BW, Casey and ME..
*NB: With "good ending" I mean - "REAL endings. COMPLETE endings. VARIOUS endings etc." - moreover: wasn't one of the strong points of the ME saga the chance of importing savegames from the previous games to have the consequences of the own choiches in the following ME games?

This. I would rather have bioware make a whole new ending or pick a canon ending then this happend...(I would even be pretty mad if IT became canon...). I want it to be bioware's work, not the fan's (even though it is still a good mod for those who dislike the endings).Ghost1017 wrote...

This mod is not considered official content. So they wouldn't. Not to mention if Mass Effect 4 is a sequel, certain plot states which were removed from the game (eg. Catalyst sequence) would break the import feature for Mass Effect 4 since it's required. Therefore, only official ending content (eg. destroy/control/synthesis/refuse) would be considered. Not some fan made mod.

this one has still hope.
i agree .. none of the endings are canon worthy. refuse is not even a real ending - it only ends the game. but does not finish it.
