I have a better idea, they dont even need to do that.. all they need is an athour to make a book that uses MEHEM as the ending and then they can do whatever they want. I mean thats what they did in ME2/3 Used other authors Characters materials for storyline stuff.

Because using an ending based on third-party fanfiction and that isn't even accessable to anyone who doesn't play on PC couldn't possibly backfire in any way. Besides, I prefer the actual endings to MEHEM.

Just make ME4 timeline concurrent with ME3. Plenty of stories to tell if the writing team steps up. Think about how many Call of Duty games Activision milked from WWII.
