I am about to go to final battle, i am going to start a new game when i am finished with this one. Can you in anyway carry over or keep some ot the items or coins in my new game? Does anything carry over?

No, you must start a new character. If you have items from add-ons (such as the Blood Dragon armor) you will get those again. But other items and gold do not carry over.

you do get to keep any specializations that you unlocked. But yeah thats about it.

Only thing that carries over is your unlocked specializations.
