Yes, I am well aware that the lore is a recently written story. Not many decades ago, people were expecting us to have really tall buildings and flying cars by the year 2000.


(I'm happy we don't have flying cars yet, because most drivers can't even drive properly in 2D)

But let's say the Mass Effect sotry would be correct. The first lunar colony would be established in 2069, and the first Mars colony in 2103.

That would mean I would be old enough, 87 years old, to witness the first lunar establishment, and dead by the time they colonise Mars.



So much to look forward to in space faring, but I'll be dead by then
