There's already an Elf rogue if you followed the leak. I doubt there going to put two elf rogues in DA3 as companions.
Humans are the only exception in all DA games.
I mean in DAO there was only one dwarf and one Elf.
Then Awakening had two dwarfs but different classes and one Elf.
Then DA2 had one dwarf and two elves but with different classes as well.
If there's another elf then I doubt there going to be the same class.

Isn't that essentially every game with voice acting?Firky wrote...
I just don't like games with real people acting in them! It's a real bugbear of mine.
Yes.
But, with some voice actors from Battlestar Galactica aside, I don't usually notice. Also, having looks as well is another level of explicitness.
(But, I agree, it's not really something that is likely to improve for my taste.)

I don't disagree, but that isn't the point. Cullen clearly suffered from a form of PTSD (I believe that at one point in DA II he talks about having nightmares about what happened at Kinloch Hold, though I may be misremembering). The same could probably be said of Meredith. You can't just expect them to pick themselves up from the trauma they went through without their views being skewered (yes, irrationally but understandably so). I'd argue that their stances are more down to mental issues than truly ethical ones.
I suppose we're getting off-topic anyway.

The reasons for his particular viewpoint are, however, ultimately irrelevant to me. I can understand them. I can appreciatethem. I don't give him a free pass as a result of them, however, nor do I consider him to be a "reasonable" templar, when he acts unreasonably.
Fair enough. I suppose I was a bit snide - my apologies.

be interesting to see what they continue to develope him into in da3 if he is in it, i can see him leave the order for the inquisition in all honesty, if the inquisition is like what i think it might be lol

i always took cullen to be a rather conflicted character, he wants to be a good templar an he believes in what the order stands for and whats happened to him sometimes is in the forefront of his mind an he acts for lack of better words hastily, but as is shown in da2 he can an will stand up for whats right.

I imagine since Hawke is mostly blamed for the destruction of the Chantry, he'll have been exiled from the Order for letting him/her go or supporting his/her bid for Viscount.

Assuming Tallis is in DA3, who thinks she'll be Tal-Vashoth? Personally, I hope she stays with the Qun but I think she will have probably defected.

Since I very strongly do *not* approve of it (despite finding it interesting and wanting to see much more of the Qunari) it sucked that I couldn't tell Tallis to go die in a fire or attack her - even when MotA gives you the illusion of dumping her, you still have to work together anyway.
So, if Tallis shows up in a role where the option exists for her to be argued with, worked against or possibly even attacked and killed then sure.

Tallis was a decent character, I thought her gameplay style was nice too with the mixture of melee and thrown daggers. The major problem was that our Hawke was forced to work alongside her, whether or not they approved with the Qunari ideology.

did you miss the part where she was trying to kill salit?Twisted Path wrote...
Mark of the Assassin was a weird name for that DLC since Tallis wasn't an assassin and wasn't on a mission to assassinate anyone. She was really more of a spy/secret agent. I guess they just picked the name because it sounded cool.

I disliked her. Most of my Hawkes disliked her. Most of my future characters, depending on their affiliations, would likely dislike her.can we steer the car back to tallis please?
I am not a fan of Tallis, but I wouldn't strictly demand she be excluded from the game. If she fits, if she's necessary then I'm alright with a revisit - I merely hope that she is not treated with the same solution of Plot Armour and blatant over-exaggeration that she received in MotA.

I hate her and everything she represents. If I see here I will kill her. I hate characters that take the focus off me, I hate the Qun and I find Hawks inability to kill her/rebuke her arguments properly annoying as all hell.
I have no real feelings towards Cullen, though he is cool when he spares the mages in the Templar ending, but I will take him over miss brainwashing and murder any day.

So if Tallis comes back, cats out the bag her secret was revealed in MoTA.If she comes back as a companion, there really is no surprise in store for you. Also if she does appear you are going to be suspicious of her and not trust anything to do with her.
Which is maybe a situation the writers want.Personally i would much prefer to have a new elf character as a companion or a minor character like Athenril get fleshed out as a companion. We shall have to wait and see.

Her main thing was trying to stop him from leaking information (spy stuff.) Then he got chewed up by a wyvern without her help. It just struck me that "assassin" wasn't really her defining characteristic (like it was with say, Zevran,) but that "Mark of the Infiltrator" wouldn't have sounded as cool.
