Just because people want to kill makes me want her to be a forced companion which will never die. Sorry but that's just how I see it. Same goes for every other character they wish to stay dead.

The thing is, those characters are there for a reason: to tell a story. Killing them off is just immature and foolish in my honest opinion. I'd rather have a Mary Sue-ish character than nothing at all. Tallis was entertaining and I liked her, I do admit that she has some flaws, but I want to see her back again.

Why? It'll be contrived unless she's there to assassinate the pc because a destabilized Thedas would be easy pickings for the Qun, i see no point in Tallis taking the place of a  new companion that could potentially provide some new insight about their country, culture, life experiece, etc. while she had a web series dedicated to her.

i don't think tallis would agree to go after the pc... nor would that be her role. and she would offer insight into qunari culture.

She's a Qunari agent, the Qun are enemies to Thedas, and it's been stated or implied by characters like Sten, and The Arishok, that they will be invading it in the future.

Not really. The role of a tallis is "to solve", but they're primarily involved in subterfuge. That could be anything from assassination to gathering intel.

Introducing a character by having them kill a million ninjas with a bunch of sick-sweet-awesome moves while the player character stands there dumbfounded is just a really bad idea and I wish they'd stop doing it.

I'm a bit suspect of the intentions of Tallis. She does claim to save the list because of the collateral damage it can cause, but in the bigger picture it keeps the spies in tact. That being said if the spies are there for the purpose of an invasion then her actions where not done for the reason she told Hawke.

Yet her job in MoTA was to steal a list that contains the names of Qunari spies in Thedas. The Qunari plan to invade Thedas in the future so her helping the pc means that she's helping the Qunari by extension.

@Teddie Sage - She's meh to me, but since that's your stance there's no further argument from here.

Not really. The role of a tallis is "to solve", but they're primarily involved in subterfuge. That could be anything from assassination to gathering intel. 

to solve is what her name means. the way i understand is that shes an fbi agent, sort of. all of what she does is based around qunari or tal vashoth

@mr_pn Tallis helping try to stop a qunari invasion might be a possible outcome based on influencing her, if she was a companion. In mota she took on the mission (I think, memory is foggy) partly to get back in the good graces of the Qun (or something to that extent). I think it would be hard for her to help try an stop an invasion after getting back her role in the Qun or getting back in the good graces.

actually she didn't have a real mission, she was there on her own trying to protect innocents, there was tal vasoth on that list too.

She was a companion. They are known for leaving hundreds of dead in their wake.

theres still people that aren't qunari on it that would be thought qunari and killed. and im sure the qunari have more then one list, so it's not like its hurts people in thedas by returning it.

It's still not a billion. Hawke and company killed even more so why are people making a fuss about it? Plus, let's not forget this Varric who tells the story. He's not a very reliable source.

Gollum has wide eyes. Tallis has wide (if significantly less so) eyes. That's where the similarities begin and end. So, no. I don't.

Tallis is very pale, her eyes are large and light colored, her cheeks are gaunt (which may be due to her severe cheekbones), and her lips are wideset and thin.  Look, I'm not insulting Felicia Day  - I think she's pretty in real-life, but the fact remains that her in-game character model can look distractingly busted at times.  This occurred in ME, too, with Miranda and (to a worse degree) Diana Allers & it seems to be systemic of a lot of celeb motion captures within video games.  

And FYI, I didn't even make that Gollum picture.  I didn't even Google "Tallis Gollum".  That came up with a plain ol' search of "Tallis".

I don't particularly care for Tallis. I like Felicia Day just fine, but I think she did a lackluster job playing the part. Factoring in my view that I think Bioware did a lousy job with the character in general(she's one enormous, illogical contradiction after another) I just have zero interest in ever seeing Tallis again.

God Tallis as a character is ugly. I don't much care for FD in the real world, but they REALLY scanned that face in badly.

As the OP or one of the first posts said, it's a similar situation to Miranda, like they took a picture of her face and taped it onto an NPC model.

Honestly though, I just want to kill Tallis. Is that OK?

agreed - if you mean sick in the way of twisted/knocked on the head/crazy

as for the actress? - well i do not know, i dislike her character after all ^^ i am biased so to speak (and i have not seen her anyway - have not seen the talis-flicks...have played MOTA and the character is decent, also she is still crazy (she likes the quun after all!))
