since it was never shown in me1, it did not happen but i would have been totally ok with that .. what about ash?

I'm not certain. I've heard the Kaidan sound files, but I don't recall about Ash.

1) Ash's religion is never stated in game. If she even identifies with an organized religion.

Does Ashley actually say she's Christian? I thought she only references believing in "a" God and nothing more specific.

it didn't catch me off guard as much as when i tried romancing Liara in ME1 and she thought i was interested in Ashley. she said that and i thought "wait hold up. i never came close to anything like that so wtf?" i told her that i didn't have feelings for Ashley and the way she reacted i thought she felt like a ****** so i felt bad for her... not that i would like rejecting her. plus in ME3 when i first talked to Cortez and he said that i thought "Well it's about time people where ok with gay marriage. Too bad it is just a game."

 the pastor of our community is gay - openly gay. everybody knows it .. he even has a husband.

well .. since he is a pastor, he is definately a man of god. christians who live by the bible can live a homosexual life. at least where i live.

You have to go through so much to even romance these characters that that wouldn't even happen. It is odd to me that people avoid talking to him because they automagically think he's going to try to hit on him. Two people of the same sex but opposite orientations can have plataonic relationships.  And here we are 2 games prior to this and no one has learned how to respond in a way to not trigger a romance lock in?

I do not "hate" gay/lesbian people but I do find their shows of public affection to be disturbing to me and many of my friends; what I DO hate though is the fact that I am bashed for having this personal opinion both at school and online because as they put it, "Love does not discriminate between sexes".

I don't like seeing most PDAs no matter if the couple is same or opposite sex. No one needs to suck face super deep in public as I've seen many people. But that's part of the good with the bad.  Hand holding. Ok. Quick pec kissing, even on the lips. Ok. Sitting in lap. Ok.

Open exploratory kisses in public? Why does anyone do that?

I think the "Love does not discriminate between sexes" clan do not like it when the "Adam and Eve not Steve" clan keep bashing it over and over and over and over again that they don't like it. It's hardly ever enough to just say "I don't agree with that." and leaving it at that. It's "I don't agree with that. I think it's wrong. You are going to hell. That's yucky! Ew Gross!" on the flip side, the '"Love does not discriminate between sexes" clan feels the need to fight back by doing everything they see opposite sex couples do in public as a match for match for equality

Yeah, that's fine.  I suppose you don't think Episcopalians, for instance, should call themselves Christians. But they do call themselves Christians. 

And since nobody here is particularly interested in talking about which group of self-proclaimed "Christians" has it right, I guess we can drop this.

yeah same sex relationships have been there since the beggining but only woman on woman, its the first time i see man on men, i´m ok with that, its just that i didn´t expect there to be

Not all Christians are Catholic. We don´t even know Ash´s beliefs, just that she has them. If you choose Shepard´s also a believer, same thing. They could worship the Lords of Kobol for all we know.
