well . the reason i dont visit mallorca is, that there are too many @sshat-germans on this island. every country has its black sheep ..
Well I always found it interesting that out of the people I know, very few even have passports. Yet, it seems like international travel is pretty common for non Americans.
It is like we only go out of the country for spring break and honeymoons.
since i am a citizen of the eu, i can travel wherever i want within europe - without a passport. i can even visit switzerland. we have this little advantage called "treaty of schengen", wich grants us free passasge within the states of this group.
i can catch a ride to paris tomorrow morning, have a "petit noir" on the banks of the river seine and head back in the evening, without the need of a passport.

I admit I did blink the first time I heard him say it, but then I just shrugged and continued. He's a good pilot and a dependable man. I just find it funny how a male Shepard says the "STEEEEVE!!!" line even if you don't romance him. XD
I hated that. I would never scream out someone's name like that even if they were my best friend.

FemShep' s delivery of "Cortez!" was much better there.

What!? I didn't even notice that he was gay in the game. The only thing that was weird was his creepy stare when he meets you for the first time in ME3.

It was a bit awkward during the first play-through because of the fear of being "ningamanced" like in dragon Age 2. It took some courage but, I has there for him as a friend. I was pleased to notice that my MaleShep never hit on him and he never hit on me.
That being said, he's a very good pilot and a professional soldier. An asset to the team. Good work with this Bioware!

Nope. I romanced Liara and I still got his hook-up proposal on the Citadel when we were having a bromance dinner.

"Oh, that's cool."
Seriously, props of to BioWare for creating a gay character that isn't the typical feminine stereotype and is a pretty awesome dude.
When I talked to Cortez, I was talking to a person, not to someone's ****ed up vision of a homosexual.
This is where "trying to be more like CoD" accusations come down the drain.

I agree. and I found the whole breakdown a bit much as well--regardless of orientation. You're on the job, buddy. Get it together.

I don't know what military you have experience in... but there is no time in
the military where you can just “do what you want." Commanding
Officers, rightfully so would simply say, "Put that way, and see the

Well to be fair, you're not really Shepard. I'm nothing like Shep myself, so I can't really hate him for being different from me.

Sorry, but there's some funny posts here.
Awkward situations? Welcome to Real Life. Full of a awkward situations, where you hit on people you thought interested but they aren't, and vice versa. It's pretty damn cool when the NPCs have ideas of their own and comes to the wrong conclusions. Or maybe they are just like.... "To hell with it! No guts, no glory!"
I've turned down women in my life. I have also been turned down.. probably more often. The only thing you could call awkward is that most gays have a pretty good instincts. They are good at recognizing who is gay and who is hetero. But I think that would be hard to program into a game.
The silliest part about DA2 is that everyone is bi. At least I am told they are, I never finished the game.
