I was like "Really? Crying in front of your CEO? Do it in your own time, this is war"
But it was pretty sudden.

Now, Joker being a robosexual, on the other hand...

I found it more in line with the themes of Mass effect, gay people on the other hand.... came out of no where.

I thought it was really cool. Refreshing to see a gay character. I never saw it as preachy.

At least it's not a: "WULD U LEIK FK M3 PLZ" Anders reveal.

Fem-Shep Liara Romance doesn't fit in the category of "gay"?

Not really.
And if you think about it using your logic "Lesbians" always played a significant role in Mass effect.
We probably killed hundreds of the blue things.

But not gay, gay just came out of no where.

Not really.

Yes really.

Asari: monogendered. Mono. One. One sex (gender is identity more then biological). That one sex is female. They look female. They have female parts. For all in tense and purposes, to humans (meaning FemShep), she is a woman. To a human, they would be having a lesbian-interspecies relationship. To an asari, it's just interspecies.

That is a theory, I would have to hear from Javiks input before we take this any further.

How does someone not have a single straight friend? How is that even possible?

Very easy: if you live in certain neighborhoods - like Chelsea in New York. You can easily only develop friends with homosexuals. Though in my opinon, with your work and family, you'd have to make somewhat of an effort.

lol, no. One fifth of my friends are gay or bi (yours probably are too, they are just afraid to tell you), so that sort of thing doesn't bother me or strike me as unusual. And honestly I have a hard time understanding why some people do. I guess immaturity, for some, and inexposure for others? I don't know.

I'll admit that I had to re-run that bit of dialogue just to make sure I heard him correctly. Took me by surprise.

Cortez is a great guy though, he doesn't act camp or anything so he's good in my book.

The whole soap opera "Don't make me an anchor. Promise me. PROMISE MEEEEEEEEEEEE" tape made me want to laugh and cringe at the same time. Hilariously cliche. After ignoring it a few times yet still always hearing it play in the hanger it got annoying, so I talked to him hoping to do the strict-officer routine, tell him to get his sh*t together or I'd send him off to scrub toilets at some frozen backwater depot, etc. Unfortunately the renegade option still resulted in hearing his life story and a slightly less friendly "that's too bad" from Shepard. Not what I expected from a Shepard who fought on Torfan and doesn't have patience for this sort of thing.

But at least he stopped being an anchor in the hanger bay after that.

Despite the banter with Vega, that whole display meant he was forever fan-service rather than an actual member of the crew. Traynor seemed much better implemented, and a genuine troll.

On the plus side he isn't all creepy-staring-at-you-longingly like Kaidan supposedly does.

This is something that sort of irritated me with this series. The perfect example was with Jacob. Getting to know your squadmates make you into this flirtatious Commander WTF is that? Why is it if your nice to someone that automatically think you want to have sex with them?

Because when BSN members are playing that is probably true?
