Deion Sanders said it best. You can tell by Crabtree's reaction or lack of one that there wasn't a penalty, as he himself initiated contact. How many receivers can you remember being obstructed and not crying murder.

They tend to cry murder anyway. To many have been taking queues from the NBA. The slightest touch they roll over on their back.

But really Crabtree tree was a offender last night. Saw several instances of offensive pass interference from him thru out the night anyway. The refs called a good game and let the players play.

And I would never have thought my favorite commercial would of came from Tide laundry soap.

That's why it seems so out of place, the fact that Crabtree didn't mug the nearest ref.

I really think the league going forward should give defenders more leeway, the odds are already so heavily stacked against them with the rules as they are.

So how ya feeling addiction??!!

Well, that Superbowl for me did not disappoint. So many ups and downs, so many stories...where to begin? Well, how about from the start? Music please

The Ravens got out of the gates already at a spring. In his first couple of posessions I noted Kaepernick was a little nervous, but was still playing fine. I mean, the qb is the offensive leader of the team, and his first season, and he is already taking them to the Superbowl...who wouldn't be nervous? Also, I feel like the interception really settled him. I don't get tired of saying this...Kaepernick shows judgement and composure way beyond his years. So the Ravens got off to a good start, and I felt that got a little to the niners. More importantly though, the Ravens defense did not let the Niners offense get into any kind of rhythm. The fumble was HUGE, because I'm pretty sure San Fran was going to score a touchdown on that posession. The int also broke up the niners' flow, and I think there was at least one 3 and out and two field goal holds.

On to the Ravens offense. Just great execution. The recievers made some very difficult catches. The willpower to out muscle the defenders and just yank the ball out of mid air was great. Flacco was on point with very good accurate throws. The offensive coordinator called a great game. How about Ray Rice though!!! All you can ask from someone is that they give you 100%...but Rice puts in 110%, no matter the down. For me, thats what propelled the Ravens to the win. They simply wanted to win more...the refusal to let the play die. There was a run on 3rd and four and Ray Rice ran into some traffice. Rather then go down, he hustled to the outside and made that effort. The Ravens later scored a TD. Remember, every score was important, because the niners would have a response later ^.^ Jacoby Jones, in my favorite play of the game, catching the deep pass, getting up, and scoring the td! The Ravens worked very very hard, and it payed off.

It was a tale of two halves though. The first was all Ravens, all the time...but after that blackout...I think the 49ers realized they were in the Superbowl. They just made scoring look so easy. I don't know if the Ravens defense was tired, if they got a little complacent, or if thats simply how good the niners are...but they finally woke up. There was a play after the blackout in which the niners offensive line pushed the Ravens d line 4,5 yards upfield, not kidding. The niners have a great offensive line. Rarely did I see Kaepernick be in any trouble, and if he was, it was because the Ravens had blitzed with at least two guys. When it was just one, he would get to late to Kaepernick and the play was already over. The niners pretty much would score in a minute. They just had so many weapons, it was difficult for the Ravens to cover them all. Ultimately though...the hole was just a little too deep for the niners to get themselves out of, but dang it, they were getting themselves out of there in a hurry lol. Also...i though they were going to use Kaepernick more in the run. The Ravens did not have an answer for him.

Great game all in all...time to go buy me a dodge truck lololol

Like a large weight has been lifted :) Now I can turn my full attention to my Celtics!

Ya that blackout reset more then just the lights. Then Keapernek had a chance to finally shake all those butterflys out. But he showed a lot of poise after the interception and coming right back.

Edit: Just to add that both teams demonstrated why they went to the superbowl this year... and would not mind a rematch next year.
