Install a door in the box which automatically closes if opened from the outside after a period of time. If stuck inside, players would have to wait half a minute for it to re-open.

But that's not even the main issue here. Fix the bugs which are present in Rio, and make it vanguard-friendly.

I highly doubt that Rio will get fixed with a patch, simply because the credits over time is not high enough to worry biower. The Glacier room of shame was fixed because it allowed for 22-25 minute platinum games while sitting in a box, and most objectives on Glacier are easy with a full team, while escorts/pizzas/devices and even kill objectives on Rio are horrible.

I don't know what is the big deal with farming ?! It is a way to play the game & even though I don't farm (I play run & gun characters a lot), the existence of things like idiotic RNG store & messed up spawns means that farming is the safest way to get credits and move up your manifest..

I should buy stock in cheese with all the whine on this forum.  Ive done it  few times but with friends,  Great way to get gear, but extremelly boring (Thats why I stopped)  just like FBW and the rocket glitch.  Plus I'm a casual Silver type o' guy anyway' w/ some Gold sprinkled in.

I was ok with the box at first. A good way to get creds on platinum, but boring. But then I joined a game where people were farming on gold... Gold!? Platinum fine, but not gold...

It takes literally forever to complete a game in the "box of shame", so quick profit not really what it's cracked up to be.

Random platinum games is just a wasteland in the PS3 at the moment so its something I play only with friends or with a random squad after we complete a few gold games.
Personally, I have never joined a Rio farming game even when I was still trying to pug platinum (missile glitchers abound). But from playing Rio on plat a number of times, I can say that it is one of the more devious maps for escort and hack objectives. All three paths across the map have an open line of sight to each other which means any unnoticed Ravager or Prime CAN and WILL snipe your ass halfway across the map (especially hilarious if you get the center platfrom hack).
I'm guessing the success rate and efficiency of this setup is not as high as the old glacier plat farming and depends highly on the type of objectives you get for the match.

Rio farming: Ineffective (Glacier is still the better option to farm credits), boring (unless you like sitting in that box for 30+ minutes) and not even the easiest Platinum setup (Giant/Reapers comes to mind). I don't understand why it's so popular...
