Thing is, Rio would still be one of the more used maps even if the conex box were to be removed. You can easily force the enemy to only come at you in one direction if you know where the spawn pop areas are at.

But what they really need to fix is the damn BC glitch that happens when you use it across the middle of the map. Sometimes it would take me 2 minutes before I can hard melee back into Rio. I thought Bioware said they patched that up...

Wait, how come everyone always sits in the middle then?? ;P

They enjoy being flanked?

I never understood why people "hold the line" in the middle. 

Maybe they just want to build a campfire and sing songs till the reinforcements come?

Whatever BioWare does, it doesn't seem like a hard fix either way.

Still, campers will always find the next easiest spot.

I don't mind camping but they are using a cheap exploit in order to do it. Its frustrating not being able to find a gold or platinum match that isn't Hydra or Rio. I'd host my own but it just takes too long to fill up a lobby and I don't have the patience for that. I might just go back to starting matched by myself and soloing until the game is full.

I honestly do not care what other players do. I just don't want to be trying to find a lobby that isn't RRP for 15 minutes, or hosting my own lobby and waiting just as long for it to fill up. Plus, I know I can't solo platinum. I lack the patience and skill for it, so starting alone isn't an option.

I honestly do not care what other players do. I just don't want to be trying to find a lobby that isn't RRP for 15 minutes, or hosting my own lobby and waiting just as long for it to fill up. I used to start up gold games by myself a lot. Game is usually full before wave 3. First two waves of gold by yourself are not that hard and usually go by quickly. I understand the not having any patience thing. That's why I never solo gold or platinum in a private match.

Hiding in the box is pretty much cheating, which should not be condoned.

It's no different than standing on a ramp so Banshees can't grab you, taking cover, shooting at enmies through cover, or funneling them through a hallway. Finding a sweet spot where all these principles can be applied very effectively isn't cheating. It does make Platinum much easier, but that doesn't de facto make it cheating.

Well I'm sure it took a lot of time and effort to figure out what to do with FBW. They almost completely rearranged it. To fix Rio all they would have to do is remove the ammo box or get rid of the entire box its self. Instead of fxing the entire or majority of the map they are just fxing a small area.

Just increase the higth of the box so Banshees can show the players inside some love :-)

This will keep the ammo box and the use of the box for quickly hiding inside and remove that ridiculous sitting in the box with a Volus thing...

So we need to change the map because you can't be arsed to search for a specific map?

And after you accomnplish getting the boxes nerfed/removed/whatever, and the farmers move onto a new map they can exploit, and you get nothing but that 90% of the time, what then? Will you then rail against the new map they locked onto in the vaccuum? Will you continue this vicious cycle as they move onto a new map, just as they did with White?

Are you that  hubristic? Do you hate the box that  much?

No they don't. If they had to, then none of us would be actually playing, we'd all be hiding in a crate or behind a counter for nearly an hour at a time like those lazy-ass ****s.

Don't like the Wheat, scorch the earth then sow it with Salt as you leave. Survival of the fittest, a normally disgusting idea and phrase in my eyes, applies in this game, because if you can't cut it without exploiting Location/Enemy combinations or Jesus Spots or whatever, BioWare will alter your precious farming area and (rightfully) screw you over.

I admit I can't play Platinum, likely because I don't simply adhere to optimum builds and weapons. My role-playing can sometimes be a hinderance, but it's fine on Gold. So I stay the Hell out of Platinum. I don't leech off of others or turn myself into a useless Pansy and make looking for Unknown|Unknown|Gold/Platinum a ****ing hassle for others just to make bigger bucks, and neither should these people.

I think you're being overly pessimistic. It used to be that every UUG was FBW camping behind the lower desks. When FBW was fixed I haven't noticed any obvious camping or farming going on at ALL in gold. There might be "easier" setups, but I'm not finding an influx of cheap setups in gold.

kind of unrelated to the OP's issue, but what is wrong with 2-4 people who make their own match and glitch in the game? I hardly find that an issue at all, especially for a co-op multiplayer game. It's completely victimless. Seems like you're only getting upset over people not playing the game the same as you.
