And I still suck! ...Should I be proud of that?

About the same time as OP. Mid week when it becomes possible for PS3 players to participate in weekend challenges and proceeded to get many Eagles when we were awarded for the first three challenges which we didn't participate. I remember the first challenge being full extraction on Gold and had my first FBWGG with a Mattock SE and was scared to hell.
Was playing AA with Phalanx and SI with Widow mainly.

Sometime in November 2012, I think. Or very late October, at least.
I don't know why I didn't start earlier...probably was busy with other stuff and getting around to it just slipped my mind.

I played it only out of curiosity at first during late March, that was maybe a week after I had finished the single-player. Then I was busy for the rest of the following months and couldn't play much games at all. Then I got more spare time from late summer and I really started to play the MP from around late August or early September, somewhere in there.

Same here...though when I got the actual game, I avoided the MP until my first campaign playthrough...Bhatair wrote...

the beta; I'd heard it was co-op and wanted to see what they'd done, and the moment I saw it was Gears of War with ME characters and weapons I knew it would be a looooooooong time before I stopped

The demo. Tried so hard to unlock a Quarian and never did. I was never someone who liked multiplayer much. I goofed off in Red Dead Redemption's and Transformers: War for Cybertron for a while. But, I pretty much quit before getting too far/unlocking all the good stuff. I got most of the trophies in Undead Nightmare for RDR except for the one where you have to hold a particular spot and kill 8 different players trying to take that spot. Eff that. Yeah, PvP was never for me.
But, I digress. ME3's multiplayer impressed me so much... well, here I still am.

I've been playing since the demo, which I must say I miss dearly. So simple, yet amazing at the same time.
Anyways, I took a week and did a play through in SP immediately following release (went to the midnight launch). Once I was done that, it was MP forever.

March 6th.
I played MP before finishing the single player (something I never do with any game besides this one). I was initially skeptical of the campaign and was only planning on renting the game and had badmouthed the MP before the demo (yes, I was one of those people). But after playing the demo, I fell in love with the MP, so I wanted to play it some more day one. The MP demo made me go from renting ME3 to pre-ordering it.

I messed around in the demo for a bit, never played the previous games back then, just standing out in the open and get shot.
The I start to know more about Mass Effect and and hooked up with the story, finally brought right after EC came out.
And played both SP and MP.

From the Demo, with a select bunch of BSNers: Admiral Cheez, Feral Ewok, Didimos, Celrath, even a Dev was kind enough to play the demo with us.
