Most of the time I enjoy DLC-s, don't mind paying for them either. If they are a stand alone story, or an extended quest not related to the main story, of course.

I like dlc that adds content to the main game.

Something like Leliana's song, is something i'm only likely to play once. But if it's content where I can play as my hero, level up as my hero, get items for my hero, etc.... i'm likely to do it every time I start a new playthrough of the game.

So I like things that give me new stuff for my character and I like new companions too.

I personally like DLC. Like Cathey above, I like DLC that adds to main content. Extra cities, dungeons, items, companions, romances, bosses, etc. are all things I like to see added. Another expansion would be great, too, although I would like to see it as in-depth as the main campaign.

I don't hate DLC. I quite enjoy it if done right.

"We all hate [DLC]"? I've enjoyed the offerings thus far. No hate here.

Who hates DLC? Sure, it's a cash grab, but as long as the content is good, I'm happy with it.

I think you are all missing the point here

Also I'd like to repost this, because everyone is changing the subject to "herpderp but I like DLC " <_<

He's asking what you want for DLC, not your damn opinion on DLC in general.

Yes we all hate it, boo hiss, but provided there will most likely be DLC for this game what would you like to see? (and no, "nothing" is not a valid answer)

Would you prefer to see DLC that adds new content, side quests and characters to the main campaign? (Warden's Keep, Exiled Prince, Return to Ostagar ect)

Stand alone modules? (Witch Hunt, Leliana's Song)

DLC that takes place in an alternate history (Darkspawn Chronicles)

Or something completely different and off the wall (The Tyranny of King Washington (Assassin's Creed 3), Garrus Vakarian PI (ok that last one was made up but it totally should have been made, hopefully it will be the focus of ME4))

Expansions that are self contained stories. They can fit into the main game at any point or after it. But I like them to feel like additions to the game and not their own modules or alternate history or anything.

Holy Necro Batman! Thought it would be better to resurrect an old topic than to start a new one, just saw this trailer for the new Far Cry 3 DLC Blood Dragon and felt it summed up exactly what I would love to see from DLC, stand alone adventures where the devs just allow their creative minds to run wild and create something completely off the wall.

My favourite type was Warden's Keep. I only like dlc that adds new content, like abilities... Actually Witch Hunt was my favourite but that was because it revolved around Morrigan and I love Morrigan.

Lol, the reason for dlc, especially in Eaware's case, is to make money... as simple as that. They should do a Bethesda approach and use add-ons to improve the game, and stop making day 1 dlc... making us pay for something we should have in the standard game only makes piracy much more tempting.

I want something like Dragonborn in Skyrim. A large new area with a lot of quests. There should be at least 10 hours playtime if the price is the same as that of the last ME DLCs

I want DLC based on Hawke and the Warden (Commander) that I can link with DA3 for extra quests related to what I did in said DLC.
