Sorry if I posted in the wrong section I didn't see anywhere else that seemed appropriate. Anyway I own all 3 games for Xbox but I am concerned for when the Xbox 360 dies off and I still want to play at least the single player so I am considering buying the trilogy for PC so that I can play the game 10 years from now if I want to without any worries but I don't want to if my computer isn't powerful enough as its only a year old and I spent $1,200 on it after tax. Anyway this is my laptop that I am using http://www.samsung.c...Z5B-S01UB-specs the cpu hard drive speeds ect look to be fine but the gpu concerns me. I am primarily a console guy and I am not a computer expert though I do know a few technical things about them. I was hoping to get some opinions from some pc guys who might know a little more than me to know what kind of performance I can expect from this computer. Thanks for all the help

thanks for the replies. Also since i am a console guy does it really matter what kind of mouse I buy? I usually don't game on pcs but I figure since this is a pretty powerful machine why not.

What mouse you use is more of a personal preference. I would not use the really cheap ones that you can pick up at something like Wal-Mart though. I do prefer wired ones over wireless. If you get a five or more button mouse you can map hot key commands to the mouse as well for easier power use in game.

Just to echo what was said earlier your laptop will run all the games well. Just note that mobile cards are not usually supported officially. It should run fine though. I used two laptops for gaming before my current desktop.

I tried ME1 on the PC and had a horrible time playing it as I am not a keyboard and mouse type person. I found my reaction time to be significantly slower and my precision (for things like targeting) was way off. It's like people who can draw on the computer using just the mouse, I am amazed that anyone can do it. Not because I can't but because it seems difficult to do so.

glad to see i am not alone there. I tried the demo for ME 3 last night on my laptop and it ran fairly well but using a mouse pad just felt awkard among other things. I am hoping that combat on pc isn't nearly as awkward for ME 1 as it is on console too. The button lay out for ME 1 just plain sucks on console and to me its a big part of what killed ME 1 from being maybe the best game of the series.

I just never liked shape of most cheaper mice. The one I use is formed more to fit to a person's right hand. I find it more comfortable. Though some cheaper ones do offer a better fit.

With wireless mice I find that the signal for the receiver drops in and out sometimes depending on how many other wireless devices are around.

With a wired mouse there are no batteries to replace also.

It's discontinued now and funny enough has the same name as my username.  Link

There is a more recent model out for it though.  It is more expensive than something you can pick up at the store.  However I have used it for two and a half years and have had no problems with it.

Mouse looks cool and $60 is not a big deal for me.
