Currently romancing Garrus for the first time and the turian has little extra lines specific for the romance all the time in ME3. Just going by the Citadel, when you discuss different missions in the calibrations-room. Don't know if Garrus is just being extra smooth but I got plenty of romance. The content you got with Garrus in ME3 is much much more than in ME2 and I really like it. Hope that Tali got a equal good treatment in ME3. Would love to see it for myself but I just find it difficult to play male characters.
Yeah, as far as the FemShep's romances, Garrus gets the most (and best IMO) content. There a lot of little things added to reflect their romance outside of the date and love scene -he holds her hand in Menae, tells her he needs her on the Citadel, she caresses his face when he worries about his family, etc. etc. Jack and Tali both make jokes about their relationship, too. There certainly was a hell of a lot more content than ME2. Quality content, too.
I never experienced Tali's romance, but from what I've seen on YouTube, she gets a lot of quality content too. It's very sweet and loving.

Ilikedloved every single part of the Tali romance. Including the picture.
Tali's EC goodbye beats Liara's by a longshot.
Well, by being better it mean's Tali's EC goodbye is by far the most soulcrushing; which may or may not be a good thing.
That was the whole goal of that scene. And if it makes you feel really bad for leaving her, than I think that is a good thing. It also gives me another reason to pick destroy.

I thought Tali's romance had one of the absolute worst and unintentionally hilarious scenes. Right after the romance scene in ME3, Shepard says something about he's not sure if what's left after the war will have been worth it, and Tali gives a heartfelt "you're my reason for fighting" speech. This was Shepard's big moment to say "I love you, Tali" but instead he just says "thanks" lol for me it's on par with "but the priiize" for worst romance moment.
Yeahh...that was pretty awful.
I genuinely (and not for the first time in ME3) wanted to slap my Shepard in the face after hearing that line. I mean, Tali pours her heart out to him and all he sais in return is a mumbled monotone "thanks"?? Show the woman some love, you imbecile!

Oh yes, when I got that scene it was unexpectedly heart-wretching. Voice actress did a very good job there.JesseLee202 wrote...

I wouldn't know if there are any of those small details or not until I actually do a playthrough where Tali is not romanced

I know the feeling, some things are just so difficult to walk away from. But you know, give another LI a try sometime if you feel like it.. it might just be fun

However, Bioware also also decided that "Battletits" > Techno Space-elf thus Allers got an entire model while Tali got a photoshopped image ripped off the interwebz.

That said, you guys got, as a payoff for 5 years of fanatical following (that makes me think of some of you with the likes of Stephanie Meyer fans), a (poorly) photoshopped face from a stock google image.
You guys got screwed pretty hard by BW.
Then again, the mere threat of pissing you guys off convinced BW to make Tali a Squadmate in ME3...
But that was still a low on their part. I'm sorry. I really, truly am.

I'm sorry but Talimancers dont have a right to complain when compared to Thanemancers, Jackolytes, and Jacob's fan. She got better content than those three as well as Miranda, Chambers, and the the same sex romances
True. Anybody who romanced a character that isn't in your ME3 squad really got screwed.

Yeah, I liked the romance. It wasn't the best, but I LOVE Tali. The photo of her face though...so disappointing.
Might just be me but I thought that pic was pretty cute, and I liked the idea behind it. Something of hers in your room. Hmm... wonder if you will have a gift from Garrus later on. Don't remember having a gift from Kaidan in that PT.

Yeah, the idea of her giving Shepard something for his cabin was cool. I just wish that BW had taken the time to give her an actual face, not some photoshopped thing from the internet. I don't have a problem with what the face looks like, I just wish the players could've actually seen her face, if you know what I mean.

Ha hagood job. You have the opportunity to see something totally new in the game. Gahh.. now I'm feeling boring for not having at a BroShep - PT. Will give it a new try after the currnt FemShep is done.
I'm boring too... I always play FemShep (and female characters in general in RPG's). I tried a BroShep once to expand my ME experience but could NOT get into it. I'm so used to Jennifer Hale's voice as Shepard, and well, relating more to a female protagonist (being female myself). It would be worth it to romance Tali or Miranda, though

Hmm... I don't know what the reasoning was behind it. Perhaps some compromise for those who wanted Tali to remain mysterious behind her mask. I do not know. But what I have seen of the romance, it really seems to be sweet. If I truly manage to get a BroShep going I could see myself wanting to see the Tali-romance. Simply because it isn't the same to see little snippets on youtube and live it in the game. We don't always get all the things we wanted, I romanced Jacob with two of my FemShep's.

I had the reverse issue with trying to play a Femshep. My advice would be to really roleplay the character compleely differently for your other Shepards; as doing so means the different voice actor and the differnt gender feels less out of place or wierd then if you were roleplauing them somewhat simularly.
For example, i normally play a synical and somewhat sarcastic paragon Shepard (with a tendency to go a bit renegade when pissed off, so is probably closer to paragade.)
My Femshep I am now playing is super renegade, mostly as a result of her colonist background having left her with serious psciological issues. She is very ruthless and antisocial, unintentially being rude and abrasive to most people she meets. Though I do plan for her to slowly become less insane and ruthless as the series progresses as a result of the possitive influences of other characters, and will likely end up being renegon by the end of ME3.

The same story over here
Being female I just find it so difficult to get into a male character. It might actually be one of the reasons why I used to think that I didn't liked rpg's and computer games at first. Never got to try one with a female character until DA:O but that is a topic for a different thread.
A really good romance arc like this that Tali seems to have really makes me curious to see the game from the BroShep-view. Or Ash for me. I have yet to see a PT in which she survives so it could be a good opportunity. So far my FemShep's have seen Tali as some sort of mix between little sister or friend. Would be interesting to see how different it feels seeing the romance-version of her story. Who know, maybe one day.
