You don't have to use those renegade interrupts. With Legion, as I understand it, the scene works better emotionally if you don't. If you were dealing with the Geth VI, however, you'd WANT to use the interrupts. It's the difference between Skynet and "Does this unit have a soul?"
Paragon/Renegade doesn't make a difference with the Peace outcome. Both Tali and Legion must be alive. Tali must be an admiral. Their loyalty conflict in ME2 must be amicably resolved. Destroying the heretics helps, rescuing Koris helps, you must complete the Consensus mission, and you need a high reputation.
This is sorta correct.
Things you have to do: Tali and Legion alive, must have done legion's loyalty mission, must have done the geth consensus mission. Have enough reputation.
Besides those things, you need to get atleast 5 out of 7 "points" granted by the following choices...
Tali not exiled: 2 pt
Geth Heretics Destroyed: 2pt
Tali and Legion Loyalty conflict resolved: 1pt
Complete mission to rescue Admiral Koris: 1pt
Choose to save Admiral Koris: 1pt
I have proven this myself, for I have a playthrough where I rewrote the heretics where I still got peace, and I have a playthrough where Tali was exiled (but i destroyed the heretics) where I still got peace.
Thus is actually possible to qualify for peace (provided you make sure to do the Geth consensus mission) before you even start ME3:D
