Refuse, unless they are indoctrinated or metagaming.

HAHAHAHAH...Nope. Here's a hint. Garrus is ok with you killing Mordin because the end results aids his race.

It pretty cleary everyone in your crew will use the crusible. The question is wheather it destory, control or synthisis.

My Garrus is not influence by your Shepard.  So he'll refuse like any logical Shepard.

It's not Shepard logic. It's his own. What do you thing Garrus means by ruthless calculus? He says this no matter what Shepard anyone has.

Understand this, no one in your crew is going to pick refuse. Not one person.

I have a very hard time  believing Garrus would choose one of the Catalyst inane options.  Shepard was given no evidence to back up the catalyst claims all you have is a word from a monster who is riddle with broken logic that created an entire Army of monsters  that excel at indoctrination.

Unless it was forced from Biowares ****** poor writing every one would refuse.

Then you clearly don'tundestand Turian phylosophy. Any way to victory they take it. Evidence does not matter, stopping the reapers does...And a slim chance is better then no chance. That's common sense.

No one in your crew is going down the same road as  hubris as you and it's clear everyone in the topic understandsthat.

Sorry I don't see Miranda controlling the reapers in ME3, she is too opposed to Cerberus to do that. In ME2 maybe, but I still think she would destroy them, see her dialogue on saving the Collector Base.

What gave you the impression she was opposed to Cerberus and not just TIM?

Well there's an email you get which describes how she is ru Ning anti-Cerberus operations.  There is also the fact she shuts down a Cerberus base, Sanctuary, and she gets killed by Assault troopers if you don't talk to her.

I disagree.  The Collectors are a synthesis of Protheans and Reaper tech.

Liara: Control
Ash: Destroy
Kaidan: Synthesis
Tali: Destroy
Wrex: Destroy
Garrus: Destroy
Miranda: Control
Jacob: Refuse
Jack: Destroy
Mordin: Synthesis in ME3, Destroy in ME2
Grunt: Destroy
Zaeed: Destroy
Kasumi: Destroy (unless Control counts as stealing the Reapers)
Thane: either Synthesis or Destroy
Samara: Control (she would be able to fulfill The Code at maximum efficiency with a Reaper fleet)
ME2!Legion: Control (keeps his people alive without changing them into an undesirable pseudo organic state)
ME3!Legion: Synthesis
Vega: Refuse or Destroy
EDI: Synthesis
Javik: Destroy

Liara control? wut. She would have chosen destroy, one thing is using the shadow broker resources and another the reapers, she knows the difference. Kaidan synthesis? He more than anyone understands the importance of diversity and understanding despite our differences and synthesis kills that. Jacob is going to have a child, he would have never chosen refuse but destroy. Samara wouldn't have chosen control because that saves the reapers and her code underlines that injustice can't be tolerated and the wicked must be punished at all cost even if you generate injustice in doing so, the reapers are freaking genocides so she would have chosen destroy. Thane is a very spiritual character and though synthesis is apparently a paradise he ultimately fights for freedom, so if any character would choose refuse it would be him, otherwise destroy. He doesn't want power nor is he seduced by it so control is discarded.

Mordin, Legion, and EDI are debatable but I think Mordin wouldn't have chosen control or synthesis because he wouldn't have trusted the child and again he is clever enough to realize that synthesis kills diversity. Legion is a very difficult character because in ME2 he doesn't choose to control or destroy the geth, he leaves that choice to you, and in ME3 even if he is willing to give the reaper code so that they can live he realizes in his last moments of life what being alive really is and surrenders that life so that others can live, this is what destroy would ultimately mean for him and his species. To sum it up, I don't know what he would have chosen but I think synthesis is the least probable scenario. EDI would have chosen destroy, she states how she despises the reapers because all they want is self preservation at any cost, and they are willing to do anything to maintain it, but she says she is different and she is willing to die for her cause, which ultimately is freedom and morality. In control you compromise the freedom of the entire galaxy and in synthesis you kill what everyone is so that everyone can live, except that they are not themselves anymore. So destroy really.

Ashley: Destroy
Garrus: Destroy
Wrex: Destroy

Miranda: Early ME2 Control, Late ME2 - ME3 Destroy
Mordin: Early ME2 Control, Late ME2 - ME3 Destroy

Samara: Destroy
Thane: Destroy
Morinth: Control
Legion: This one is hard. The only one he wouldn't pick is Control.
Zaeed: Destroy
Kasumi: Synthesis (since it gets her beloved Keiji back. That seems to be all she lives for.)
James: Destroy
EDI: Destroy, possibly Synthesis
Javik: Destroy

Yes, part of the original plan of synthesis. The new one is not so extreme. The only issue is a question of free will.

Reguardless, this tech /organic symbiosis is already happen in the ME universe already. The only choice is taking the catalyst way or make our own.

That is because the more you think about them the more they suck. And if you analize each character you realize that almost all of them would have chosen destroy really.

Really, you're missing the fact he it's up to you're Shepard how he deals with it.Just because he hasthe power does not mean he has to us it.

That being said, the player has the final say what Shepard does unless BW SAYS OTHER WISE.

Yes. Did you look at any poll outside of here? AlanC9 can direct you to a good one.
70%+ Destroy
15%+ Control
10% Synthesis
5% or less Refuse

How can someone loose something he never had? Freedom does not exist. It's just a beautiful word that politicians use to control the crowd.

I thought that might have been ths case as well until I actually saw the Control epilogue, which clearly indicates that the Shepalyst isn't going to a hands off galactic overseer.

Within the constraints set by the game.

Considering Synthesis is achieved through something we created, I'd say readiness is not an issue.

Also, there's the oft-missed dialogue between EDI and Shepard in ME3 where she says she had a talk with Mordin, and that the salarian people are very pro-transhumanism.

Nihilism, typical. Much easier to do what you want when you negate something exist and is just a word.

How would Kaidan choose Synthesis? He called the Geth "murdering machines" remember?

ME2 Legion might Refuse, "Geth will build our own future" and all that.
