Hi all, I'm about to get all trophies in ME1 on PS3 and I want your help on the asari ally achievement. I know that the safest way to do it is: 1st arrival on the citadel -> get Garrus -> get Wrex -> save Tali - > expose Saren and then straight to Therum without landing anywhere or taking any other assignment, then having Liara in your party forever. My Question is: There are 2 assignments on the citadel that I have read if you don't get them the 1st time they bug out, report's request and the fan, so I took only these 2 assignments before getting Liara but I plan to finish them with her. Am I on a safe road? Also finishing the collection assigments in surveys with the mako and not planet surveys count too? As I said I am on PS3 so I do not have the Pinnacle Station DLC. Thanks!

you should be fine, i picked up a bunch of quests before i got her an still got the achievement, i just never completed any of them until i had her in the squad, as to the surveys i hjust did them all in the ship but upto you what way you want to do it

Never heard of those two assignments being bugged before. I believe collection assignments do not count toward ally achievements so they won't help you, but all the ones on both the DLC do count. No Pinnacle Station for you but you should have Bring Down the Sky, right? That's got three assignments and so more than makes up for the two you didn't do with her.

Yeap you are correct on all the above. I started insanity today and I thought it would be a big challenge for me since I'm not used in the ME1 gameplay and having also in mind that I must have Liara in my team, I'm vanguard so I need someone with descryption, electronics etc so I picked Garrus and I really wanted Wrex for insanity, but Liara is a beast also......singularity just so broken in this game.

That should be fine, I unlocked mine after picking up a bunch of quests on the Citadel but didn't finish any of them till I got her.
That Krogan Battlemaster on Therum is really annoying with a low-level party, be warned if you're trying it on Insanity.

Put him in Phoenix Armor in case you end up respecting him for making the krogan easy.

I tried to do it on my third playthrough, before I knew about that trick (I generally don't use NS). I was about throw my computer out of a window before I gave up and switched the difficulty down.

If you want to do it the hard-headed way, like as a Soldier with Garrus and Tali in the squad, then you just have to play near perfect, and use clutch grenades.Mi-Chan wrote...

Can someone tell me what exactly are collection missions? I picked up Liara right away (but unfortunatly I completed all the citedal missions before leaving) and didn't get the medal in my last playthrough.
Also, that Krogan is Hella-hard to beat at a low level XP
