Ok so I'm doing bronze to get the 200 waves for eveybody out of the way right. The host pulls a ninja switch without anyone noticing to sliver. During the game I notice that the enemies were way stronger than they are on gold. I checked the thing and saw it say sliver but it was crazy hard to be sliver. Come to think about it was harder to do when I did my sliver solos than my gold solos.

Has anyone else noticed that Sliver feels harder than Gold in the past few weeks?

also why do host switch from brozne to harder diffs in the 1st place? if i searched bronze I want bronze not sliver/gold/plat stop that crazyness.

edit: I should explain when I play gold stuff dies really quick public/privte as if I was on Bronze. When I play Sliver things are way harder to kill. Bad are good team it been like this for a few weeks to me

edit II: I just noticed something ppl are doing ninja switch on ppl searching for bronze. I keep searcing for bronze but b4 anybody presses ready the host switches to silver. this keeps happening so I'm guessing more ppl know about this silver being harder than gold thing and are trolling. Why else would u do a ninja switch?

I usually think Gold is easier because my teammates are generally better, hence making the waves go faster and feel easier.

I find gold easier than silver at times because I don't try on silver.

A lot of newbies with enough sense to stay away from gold but not silver play silver. I've had more wipes on silver than gold.

We need a money increase for bronze.

I've played plat with a lvl 1 QFI no equipment never got downed and I've played gold a lot with no equipment. However when I did my solo Gold was super easy to do but sliver felt harder. As for the team game i was in i used equipment and still got owned my team sucked but still felt like the gold and sliver have been switched.

When doing PUGs, I find that gold is often easier, because most players playing gold are competent. Gold demands a certain element of teamwork in order to be successful, whereas silver is just easy enough where everyone goes running around like Rambo looking for points.

Yeah I tend to notice this too but like somebody has already said, its most likely to do with the fact you have better teammates.

Wave composition. Less bosses on silver, so certain build suffer. Crowd control is less important on gold because there are less crowds. Probably a reason

gold is harder than silver, you probably just weren't ready for it for the switch so you were playing with a bronze mentality (where you can get away with the craziest/most stupid actions). Or you found yourself getting shot at by all of the cannibals/marauders or whatever.

3-4 marauders are always more dangerous than anything else.

That's pretty presumptious. I've done gold with no equipment, I have several friends who run gold without equipment regularly, and even THEY say that silver is harder than gold.

No way Silver is harder than Gold. I play Gold constantly, and it's leagues above Silver, IMO. The few games of Silver I do play, I just solo if my teammates end up being mutts. If you play Gold regularly, Silver should be an easy solo.

Usually because the people dwelling in Gold are those who not only dare to, but CAN.

People in Silver are living in the buffer zone, the no-man's land between noobs and pros. In Silver it is perfectly expectable to run into your fair share of match-killing teammates. People working their way up (or down) the skill ladder are going to be found in the catch-all breeding ground known as Silver.

Even noobs know not to try Gold for fun. Those of us who do, we know what to expect, and come prepared.

EDIT: Sure, Gold is a whole 'nother ballpark from the rest of the game... but if you're good at what you do, you're good at killing fast, and you're good at surviving, then Gold is simply a place where you're doing all that more often with fewer breaks in between.

Not as silly as it sounds & plausable.
Only the 4th gear item used or perhaps none = weaker weapons damage
No mods except for weapons, people trying new characters/weapons (for challenges, N7 rank), underestimating the enemy, not willing to use medi gel/rockets, doing a 'Rambo'

Result as difficult as gold, if not harder!

Wrong. Statistically provable, really. Enemies have more health, do more damage, move faster (okay, so I've heard), arrive in greater numbers, etc.

Also, PUG's are like the RNG. Sometimes you get "drops" sometimes you get level IV ammo (or whatever is horrible at your manifest completion level)

Silver is easier than Gold, the problem is that now it's hard than it used to be. Especially collector, new players can't hardly deal with them.

I have done gold and plat "naked". They weren't that hard.
