Just curious: is it possible to transfer a face you created in ME2 back to ME1? I see no way to enter a code or anything in ME1.

Well, this is still your solution if you have ME2 face code (squad menu, above the head) and an access to a PC to use this application. App translates this code to number of ticks you need to move on the sliders in the ME1 character creator, where far left side of the slider is "1".

Once you understand how the code works, it's preaty easy to build characters from scratch in ME1. If the code has a number, it corresponds to the first few notches (1 being furthest notch to the left). so 1 - 9 would be the first notches, then letter codes come after that (A = 10th notch to the right). There is no 'O' letter in this code, and many of the characteristics end with a 'W' (which would be the 31st notch, or the furthest notch to the right).
Note that some characteristics are different. Iris color is one the exceptions to this code since more are added in ME3. When you import your ME2 character into ME3, make sure to check iris color. Shouldn't be too much of a problem since you want to get ME2 character in ME1.
