I'm actually glad this is becoming a toxic environment. Bioware deserves it. I want the developers to get a queasy feeling in their stomach every time they think about visiting these forums. I am no longer hoping for change. Now the best I can hope for is to spread some misery to those that deserve it.

Devs don't deserve to be insulted because the game they made didn't turn out the way you wanted it to but Moater Boats crappy behavior and his overall self centered, narrow minded, wannabe badass attitude makes him open season.  He is deliberatly toxic because he enjoys it.  He is scum
[/quote]See, that's where you're wrong. Lots of games don't turn out the way I wanted them, and I don't mind. I do mind however, when they falsely advertise their games to trick people into buying it. As you said, devs are human beings too. They're not above us in any way, and they're not saints.

Man, hells, the lot of you (or, at least, a lot of you) are pretty gross.

David Gaider has a point, and I don't blame him for avoiding BSN. There is no need to personally go out of your way to be vicious and gross to the devs. All the stupid "BW sucks" threads really don't faze me- I love BW, unabashedly, but I can see their flaws as well. I simply choose to look past them because they don't curb my enjoyment of the games enough to walk away.

Neither do I.  Which is too bad, because despite the backlash, BioWare certainly seems to still care a great deal about its fans and players, and they repeatedly say that the decisions they make are a result of feedback from the forums.  As far as I know, BioWare is the ONLY company supporting its game (of the Year ) with continuous, free DLC to keep its experience fresh and engaging.  Treyarch isn't doing that.

I'm 100% behind BioWare.  I thank them for their hard work.

Say hello to 343 Industries. Say hello to free STORY DLC.

I feel the need to point a few things out: is only free for the first season, only free to gold members, the story exists almost entirely within cutscenes, maps are all copy-pasted to pad out missions, very little replayability besides grinding for points.

And? What he is saying is petty, yes. But it's his beliefs. You on the other hand are going againist your own beliefs-“Devs are human beings and don't deserve to be insulted and threatened."-and so are being hypocritical, and I can't stand hypocrisy. So I fail to see how I'm a hypocrite.

seriously though this place was much more fun back then, the devs posted all the time and complaint threads were mostly made by eccentrics like smudboy

But it's still new story content. That is free. And I haven't heard anything about the second season but it might be free as well.

The gold members thing is silly, since most of the XBL stuff is restricted to gold members anyway.

I'm perfectly fine with copy and paste maps for good story content that is FREE.

Did I mention that it was free?
