What quest is the point of no return in Mass Effect 2?

Also, I read in the looting guide you get a 25% xp bonus for completing the collector's station. I'm saving my quest to turn in until then. Is this true or not. If it is, what's the name of the quest?

The Suicide Mission (Collector Base) is the final mission. Completing the Reaper IFF mission (unlocked after Horizon) will unlock the Suicide Mission. Some notes:
 - Depending on how many squadmates have loyalty missions left, you may have to complete 1-3 missions AFTER the Reaper IFF to unlock the Suicide Mission.
 - If you have completed all squadmate loyalty missions prior to the Reaper IFF, the Suicide Mission will unlock immediately. HOWEVER, you can gain a new squadmate after completing the Reaper IFF. If you activate the new squad member and talk to that squad member immediately, it will unlock a new loyalty mission and the Suicide Mission will be delayed for one mission which you can use to finish that final loyalty mission.

After completing the Suicide Mission, you can play any unplayed missions that remain.

One more thing to add to RC's last post:

Make sure to get all ship upgrades prior to doing the Suicide Mission. Doing these will help save some of your team mates from dying. You can get these upgrades by talking to your squad mates on the Normandy.

When you begin talking to them go to Investigate > [UPGRADES], and they will give you their research upgrade that you can buy (with minerals) in the science lab. Some of the upgrades are not ship upgrades but they will help increase certain squad mates powers or unlock a special weapon for a certain squad mate.

Thanks for the heads up.

Is it possible to buy all the ship/armor/weapons/squad member upgrades in one playthrough or will I just fall short of that goal? I already have the bonuses as importing as a lvl 60 (Lvl 5 and 100,000 credits). From what I read online , I'm not sure, I think I unlocked 30 on my first playthrough because of that. I kinda just want to enjoy the trilogy completely quickly and come back to play it as an adept.

Planet scanning is relaxing.  What with "New Worlds" playing in the background.

But if you don't want to, there is always Gibbed.  Just give yourself an extra ~250k of each at the beginning.  You don't really need that much Eezo, but it isn't like you actually have to find a place on the Normandy to store it.

Hey RedCaesar,

I was going to follow one of the your soldier guides. I was wondering if you have/know a squad member build guide? I know Liara and singularity is basically the business, but I'm not quite sure on the skill progression.

It would be a big help if someone can like the gold standard builds to Squad members in ME3. Thanks! I'll be moving on to the other forums after this.

For Mass Effect 3, the closest I can find is this thread: What are the best squadmate builds? (Level 60).

Also: Squadmate's Best Weapon of Choice. Old thread, some of the new DLC weapons may be better on squadmates (Typhoon can be really good for on Assault Rifle-wielding squadmates for example).
