I have a couple questions about ME2.

First I'm having a problem with the assignment "Citadel: Forged IDs" as they asari dont spawn where they should be. ive watched vids on youtube on where they are and when i go there in game they arent there. Any help?

Also, I would like to know if any of the N7 have any impacts in ME3, and if so, which ones. I have done a few of them, but they arent that interested when compared to the main missions, and the loyalty ones.

How far along are you story wise? IIRC you have to have completed Thane's loyalty mission for the two Asari to be there. At the least it is unlocked. One of the two.

As for the N7 missions, none of them affect ME3. A couple have upgrades in them, but largely they are just a way to get some more credits to buy upgrades, and get a little extra XP.

i found the ID's in garrus' loyalty mission. Im playing on xbox 360 also if that matters. and no i havent even recruited thane yet lol.

and yeah i may just end up doing a few more of them if i stumble on them

You can find the IDs before anyone asks you for them, no problem. You'll still have them when you need them.

(Platform doesn't matter - the game's the same no matter what you're running it on.)

i have them but the asari your supposed to talk to isnt anywhere to be found, i watched a vid

as capn233 says, you need to recruit Thane and do his loyalty mission or they won't be there.
It doesnt make much sense, but thats how they trigger.

even though i have the IDs? and the quest tells me to go talk to them?

well the video i watched showed that ou go talk to 2 asari
