In veil of night,

And darkness cold,

Lies a wary dragon hoard.

It's a long, long road I travel
And I'm moving oh so slow
From the places that I've been to
To the places where I'll go
I cannot catch my future
Because I can't outrun my past
And I cannnot see the present
Because I'm moving far too fast

The roadsigns say that I'm lost
But I've lots of time to spare
Because no matter where or how fast I go
I'm always almost there

Our Sky

sun set
in the night sky
star light
reflected in your eye
a simple smile
made me melt
the strangest feeling
I've ever felt
in your arms
with the moon above
that was the moment
I fell in love

a pretty face
intense eyes
somewhat naive
but oh so wise
a passionate spirit
a tender kiss
this is the girl
I fell in love with

a broken heart
I read your letter
my friends keep saying
it'll get better
one day
I'll move on
but I know
that they're wrong
you needed some
time apart
but you never went far
from my heart

in the night
beneath our stars
the moon shone down
on two crashed cars
to ID your body
they searched your coat
all they found
was your note
"I miss you baby
I'll come home soon
We'll reunite
beneath our moon"

I wish you had just left me
I wish you'd stayed away
Then maybe you
would be alive today
I sit at your graveside
I can't help but cry
I know you're dead
but my love won't die
the sun sets
in our night sky

The falsehood I don't doubt
You're every fear made flesh
And life without you is death

You have your claws in my mind
I can't escape your thrall
I used to think you were everything
But you're nothing at all

and love,
Devotion and yearning
cascade from above.

My senses awaken
like petals on a
flower,
thinking of you,
the feeling of
your power

The night air
is crisp,
a slight chill does
it bring

Our voices were
united,
our hearts they
did sing

Touches and caresses
lips and hot
tongues,
explored many places
released tensions and
we sung

Words whispered in
passion,
words of desire,
my body ached and
writhed,
my soul was
afire

Take me completely,
make me your
own,
Love me forever,
I kneel at your
throne

I am seductive,
possessive and
more,
treat me as your
lover, your mistress
your ****

Consume me with
eagerness,
climb to the
peak,
release and satisfaction,
is what I do
seek!

and gaze at
the azure
sky,
your hands and
your lips caress
my supple
thighs

The lark it
sings,
the squirrels do
fight,
I long for you
to compel me
throughout the
night

The waves splash
upon the sandy
shore,
my ache and
my need,
only make me
want you all
the more

The sun it
peaks,
the sounds of
the beach,
wrapped in your
arms,
our lips do
beseech

Thru sweat and
desire,
do we rekindle
our fire,
touching and kissing
we give way
to desire

We fly and we
quake,
we sing and do
moan,
our souls meld as
one,
we are never truly
alone

So love me in
passion,
so love me in
fun,
make me your
plaything,
until we are
done.

This is mine and is called 'The Raven at Night'

Black-feathered, wretched, wrapped in night,
I glide over the toy towns far below,
My wings spanning the width of millennia,
And my eyes looking out towards eternity.
I soar through the filthy clouds of smoke
Erupting from chimneys, souring the air,
And taste the bitter fumes. The smoke
From your fire is warming your hands,
And keeping you out of the cold.
But I see the beggar men, women, and children,
Huddled and hunched 'round pathetic flames,
Covered in filth, wrapped in rags; making
Beautiful lives out of trash and debris.

You've suspected my presence from time to time,
And you've seen black feathers here, or there,
Scattered about like ebony tokens,
Distributed by an infernal, whimsical hand.
You've looked up as the rush of unnatural air
Sweeps by you, leaving you chilled and disturbed.
You've glimpsed the revenant shadow, high above,
Floating like a flag over a bloody battlefield,
And all of you are corpses, ripped to pieces
By your neighbors in your beautiful, twinkling city.
You've heard my dry and cackling cries
Echo over and throughout the night,
You know I'm watching from a lofty perch.

I can hear the whispers of women and men
As they drift up to me on a treacherous wind,
Telling of secrets and plots and schemes,
Sorting through the vileness, my talons open wide,
And all matters of turmoil are laid bare.
When you thought no one was looking,
When you crept in the night to secret places,
I was there, flying, enshrouded in deepest black.
I've seen the lies that you've told with morbid eyes,
And I've known of the betrayals and the deceptions, too.
I've spied the child shatter the vase and the picture frame,
And hide it under the bed to avoid the slap of the hand
That put it too close to the edge.

The dinner was
A gourmet’s delight,
With romantic music,
Low and flickering
Candle light

Your Armani suit
My Valvo dress,
Walking arm in
Arm,
You give one
Breast a slight
Caress

I gaze into
Your eyes of
Blue,
I smile that
Smile that’s a
Beckoning clue.


We stop and
We kiss,
And kiss once
Again.


Your powerful arms,
Crush me to
Your body once
again


My fingers run
Through your hair
Of jet black,
Your increased pressure
On the small
Of my back

We walk a
Ways,
And stop yet
Again,
The gleam in
My eyes asks
A single question
When?

The parting of
Lips,
A small moan
I release,
The night is
Quiet and so
Empty,
Our little world
Is at peace.

The kisses become
Eager,
And hands start
To roam,
A gasp as
Your fingers find
A warm and
Moist home

Words of endearment
A hardness as
Of bone,
Gentle images in
Your mind,
Tis the end
Of my poem!
