I want us to have another dog companion, but not a mabari. I want Bonbon, the lapdog Leliana talks about biting her ankle and kicking over a balcony. Bonbon the wardog!

I'd like more skills, more class specializations, some cameos from DA:O characters, if not in person, in reference such as notes or word of mouth from other NPCs. A rogue/mage class specialization would be nice, though I doubt it would ever happen.

I would like more weapon varieties (flails, knives like the one Jowan stabs his hand with, slings, staves, spears, Qunari blunderbusses) and bowstrings for the bows. (considering the ballistas are strung, it's not a stylistic choice)

Sandal...we need more Sandal. "Enchantment!"

More designs for existing outfits (cloaks!) and weapons, more special weapons to pick up.

More music for the new setting and more placibles/terrain to make it feel like a different country.

More character customization, adding a height and girth slider so all races/sexes aren't the same everywhere you go except for the one fat inkeeper in Redcliff (Loyd?).

***Really Reaching Here*** Swimming, jumping and climbing to allow more exploration of the environments.

Oh and being able to augment shields and bows. You can use talents to hit foes with shields so why not be able to augment them? As for bows I hate having to go into the pause menu and selecting fire or ice arrows, why not be able to augment your bow so when a arrow hits it dishes out damage from that augment. I would be will to specifically for bow augments in place of arrows.

How about allowing Arcane Warriors to fire spells without having to put up their sword and shield first. I know that may make them uber powerful but give me less skill points or something to make it even.

That's why I haven't bought any Bioware points yet, and I'm a pretty big Bioware fan! DLC is a tricky, two-faced beast, and I bite my thumb in the general direction of all who thought it was a good idea. Maybe they'll let you buy random souvenirs from David Gaider's house or something?

A couple things came immediately to mind...

- Better Eye Tracking: bugged the hell out of me in convo cinematics when the NPC or my char would be staring off into space, when speaking with someone in the opposite direction.

- More Maps/Locations Outside of Ferelden: An Orlesian embassy on the border or remote outposts even. Things that show Ferelden from a non native's point of view. Also, a map of what Antiva or Orlais or the Free Marches looks like would be phenomenal for helping plan out new modules for Builders.

- Follow up/Reprecussions based on DAO: If I saved "X", have that effect the gameplay and storyline somewhat. Like followups on the 'epilogues'

- Morrigan. Really want to see a follow up to her one thingamaroo that cant be mentioned due to this section not allowing Spoilers. >.>

And finally, just more story in general. I dont mean so much plotline, what the PC is involved in story, but they did such an excellent job creating a living, breathing world, that I wish we could see more of it. Ferelden single handedly defeated the Blight. What's the political reprecussions? Do some countries see that as Ferelden being weakened enough to exploit? Do others have newfound respect? The beginnings of a war under the pretense of peace treaties? etc. etc. etc.

I just hope Morrigan isnt the "returning favorite". I hated her guts, I would not be happy if she was forced on me.

Lots more robes and light armour.

5th tier of spells and enough new ones that it makes me specialise rather than just become a generalist with every spell

Explore the Darkspawn and Grey Warden lore thoroughly (main reason Im picking it up)

Lots more codex entries

Oh and leave followup on Morrigan for sequel (no expansion could wrap that up as I would like it to develop)

Mikey_205 no need to double post you have a edit button at your disposal. I really hope to see the old companions again, and see what everyone has done how fereldan has changed. I wonder how much time has passed in awakening since the oc.

Closure with Anora, I'd like to have a quest to either assassinate her or make her feel in love with you then ditch her after robbing all of her gold.

I really like this idea - Follow up/Reprecussions based on DAO: If I saved "X", have that effect the gameplay and storyline somewhat. Like followups on the 'epilogues'

That would give a great reason why to replay from the begining of DAO and continue through the expansion, multiple times.

My third post in this thread but what can I say when you ask me what I want I am going to ask for the moon.

How about allowing users to customize their characters height/build. Or if you progress in the strength attribute your muscles get bigger and bulkier. If you increase in dexterity your muscles become more defined. Also if this is implemented do the way this affects males and females differently. Trust me the end result is no pretty Fable 2 female with physique all the way leveled up is not a site anyone wants to see, at that point bandits started running away because of how she looked lol.

I'd say more armor that looks...different almost all heavy armor matches heavy plate armor with just a symbol or color difference.

A final fantasy cgi sort of graphics would be awesome, along with being able to use characters from Origins .-. as long as I can continue to play my same character and mroe so be able to do something about certain things I'll be happy.

I'd say continuation of Origins in a small bit at least your person being a hero and so forth, reading into what you did romance with whom friendship and so forth liek that. plus the soldier's peak and such should be in there still perhaps a merchant trade post for the Drydens now? ^^ something to include the well spent money on other Addons.

Trulky as long as it offers follow up of your Origins character I'm buying it.

More Weapon/Armor Tiers: If we're continuing with our character then it's a bit unfair to the darkspawn i'm packing Starfang and Wades Dragonplate armor. I remember Obsidian mentioned in the books and Platinum being mentioned by a dwarven armor salesmen. Let's see some of that.

Capes, Cloaks, Actual Hoods not traffic cones: Chicks dig capes. Plus my ranger specialization character would look good in a hood as well my mages.

Treasure Hunts: Some side quests leading me on a hard treasure hunt to find some unique equipment would be nice.

Random Encounters: More encounters while i'm on the road.

More abilities: Mages have a ton of spells, warriors and rogues don't have as much in terms of abilities.

More specializations: i'd like to see some new specializations to spice up my party members.

Something else I just thought on... I'd really like to see another book tie in. The first two books did an excellent job of complimenting the game's overall storyline I thought, and gave a bit more context to certain NPCs and the political situation in general. Another book, taking place around the same time as the expansion could be interesting, or even better one taking place directly after, where the events are largely just rumor and secondhand knowledge, allowing most of the player chosen possibilities to still be possible. ^_^

[Edit]:  AND!  You know what's REALLY missing and there's a need for via expansions?  Coastal stuff.  Docks, ships, lighthouses, gulls, wharfs, etc. etc. etc.  The ability to make real port towns and coves and the like would add a ton more versatility to the Toolset in my opinion! ^_^

1. class synergy tweaking. Weapon-enchanting sustained abilities working for bows. Complementing skills between all three classes eg Heroic Offense + Whirlwind = full screen flashy WW aoe, Heroic Defense + Stealth = rogue becomes an imaterial smoke silhouete (immunity) etc
2. Better looks for robes, armour, weapons, etc. Set bonuses that actually ofset the lame stats of the individual pieces.
3. More environment-sensitive boss battles (not just of the there's-a-ballista-at-the-corner-that-you-may-use type). The dogs helping you at Tower of Ishal, the gas valves and the four-face thing at Anvil of the Void were great stuff
4. Ways to make money and cool ways to use it. Like having a WK-like base that you can upgrade and customise to your liking. Eg you can choose if there would be a chapel, the catacombs were cleaned, the gardens tended etc. "Good" choices make a shiny place, "Mean" choices make a gritty (but practical) place.
5. Reasons to use traps. -.- Crafting should get an overhaul.
6. More humorous dialogue, "Oh Snap!" moments, story permutations, companions jumping in serious conversations, companions being integral parts of what's going lik in the Gauntlet/Landsmeet.
7. Some small additions/changes here and there to the main story for variety. By the time the Xpack is out the replay value of the original will be really exhausted.

Edit
8. Be-all, own all options for the power-hungry. I loved my (male) Human Noble playthrough story-wise.
Edit 2
9. Helm toggle seriously!

The game is pretty flawless, there are few items that I would wish for.

Maybe having an auto-run key that you press once and your character will keep moving forward, even into a wall, would be practical for me. That way he always moves forward and I can steer with the mouse.

The entirety of the Baldur's Gate Trilogy in the DA engine available via a little arcade machine in the new Warden base.

I guess for the sake of being constructive I can take the question a bit seriously...

Add more unique items to the game for the harder mobs to drop. When the game employs algorithms to randomly generate loot it kinda comes off to me as being generic and immersion breaking. Also, the economy seemed pretty broken to me. It seems as though you can go through the entire game, collect all the rare and unique things there are to collect in the game, sell it all in a small village...and it wouldn't really break the economy of that village at all. Maybe Bioware wanted it to be that way to further drive in the "dark fantasy" label in which they show you how insignifcant your character is and showing you that no matter what you do, you won't come across all of the treasures of a country. That would be fine to me, honestly...if they didn't have you exploring the incredibly important places you do in the game.
