The Asari with those facial marking that look almost Turian are probably the results of turian bonding where the ofspring get that facialpigmentation to help the bondmate connect.

Liara was a pure blooded Asari, the union of two Asari.

I woder if human bonded asari will look like Liara or if they will have what looks like tatooed hair on their head flaps!
Or even worse... What if they grow a pigmented tatooed looking beard!! Since human males are geneticly  predispposed to grow beards! Bearded lady?!? Poor girl!

Maybe they will be a sucess with the human females
