My real name is Nina, and an ex teased me by saying it sounded like a police siren: niiiinaaaa, niiiiinaaaaa, niiiiinaaa. I thought that was hilarious and actually quite true. So I embraced it in my gamer tag.

It's my last name with 2 z's on the end (pronounced Pay-nezz) . Just because I thought it sounded cool and it helps my IRL friends when I add them on XBL.
Also if you want to stalk me, good luck.

Four is my lucky number. Vanguard is just a function I tend to perform well in games. Either by tanking ( taking the incoming fire, protecting the team ) or by having creative ways of abusing given classes/role powers to save someone ( World of Warcraft - "Leap of Faith" - how I miss thee... *sigh* ).
Actually I started using it way back when I played Medieval - there was this unit from the Byzantenes. it was called "Varangian Guard" and it was the meanest toughest sonuva**** unit in game. I liked the idea of being an unstoppable object in my path of destruction.
Still, later on I liked the idea of a protecting/cooperative element much better. Which I then realized describes the varangian guard even better. Well, perspectives change and I write too much... again.
Also I play Vanguards in mass effect 3 sometimes, but that is just a lucky coincidence.
And don´t get me started about my forum name... just accept I have one. *coughs*

Are you sure? There is a Kalas321 roaming around in this forum. So maybe he has played the same gamecube game?
I always wondered if there is any connection.

Now, of course, I get to see 'Baensidhe72 was taken out by a Banshee' but I don't think anyone gets the reference.
Baensidhe72
It's ''evil spirit' not 'evil fairy' darn it.

I've always used Banshee, but the English usually butcher the Irish Gaelic. So bane and sidhe (phonetically baaaen - sheee) 'evil spirit'... becomes Banshee. Since there's a billion 'banshee' e-mail addies, I used the Gaelic variant, Baensidhe, and the year I was born, for my Gamertag.

People only confuse the two when they see the right spelling like you have. As the sidhe are a race of faerie, they will get them mixed up.

Old Counterstrike kill feeds from a decade ago. "You've been kiiled by TheWrongBullet". I thought it was funny at the time and never changed it since.

I was bad dad when coaching my son's wrestling team... Then he went to college- he came back for Christmas break and we went to the basement for a match where he proceeded to mop the floor with my a** and then kick it for leaving a waxy build up. I came upstairs "not so bad dad", but real proud of him.

A friend and I had a GFX team thing going at one point called Deadly Sins so I used it for my GT, added the 666 'cause apparently somebody had the regular version without the number and I figured it'd get me some lolz. I've had people talk in lobbies and refuse to say my GT because of it, which is funny.
