Hi there,

I'm going to play through Baldurs gate 1 and 2 using the BGT mod and want to be abel to do the NPC quests in BG2 and take a couple of NPC's with me through BG1 but I also want the flexibility of making a couple of my own party members so am thinking of the following:
Protagonist - Human, Beserker Dualled to a mage
Created char - Ranger/druid (half elf) (for crom faer and elemental flail dual wield)
Created Char - Human Paladin

I'd want to take Imoen along and dual class her to a mage further down the line, leaving me with 2 slots for whoever I want to take round with me.

I'm taking a cleric from the outset as I never found a decent cleric early doors in the game and this gives me that and also I get druid spells for my ranger...

What do you all think?

Also are there any other mods I should put in that would expand on the experience?  I'm not after changes in content or extra NPC's, just stuff that was left out or would enhance the game.

What level do you intend dualling to mage.
Ranger/druid is not possible. Ranger/cleric has access to druid spells.
Paladin kits are worth having.

Once your game is started you can copy a savegame from the mpsave folder to the save folder and continue in single player. Game plays more smoothly in single player, e.g. pausing/unpausing.

Hi there, I'm thinking of dualling about level 9?

I meant ranger/cleric, just not with it at the moment!

I'm also thinking of the inquisitor kit for paladin as ill have my cleric for healing, cheers for the so idea, I'll be giving that a go!

I would personally say Cavalier instead of Inquisitor.

Cavalier's immunities are REALLY useful in the first game and there's Keldorn in the second if you really want an Inquisitor. Make him the party leader too, since with that high Charisma, people won't suffer from morale failures and it helps in conversations or merchants..

For a six person party, I would suggest:
Cavalier
Ranger/Cleric
Fighter/Thief
Druid (Totemic or Shapeshifter)
Archer Ranger. Archery is stupidly powerful in the first game and it's still good in the second.
Or, Barbarian/Berserker/Kensai.
Sorcerer
