Hi there,

I'm looking at adding a few mods to enhance the game, I've got it through steam and have the complete pack so MOTB and SOZ as well.

I was wondering what are the best mods to install to enhance the experience, things I;d particularly like would be multiple classes for my followers and also being able to add my own party members

I assume that you intend to play the official campaigns (there are tons of user-created campaigns besides those). Try this for the OC, and this for MotB.

I do indeed!

Thanks very much for those links, although I'm not looking for full SOZ functionality ie perma-death and not being able to rest and when I've used the mod in the past I;ve not been able to disable that part of it.

Well, there are several mods that allow multiclassing for companions (such as this one), but I don't know about your other request. Maybe you can modify a file or something; I don't know.

To add your own party members without using the SOZ makeover, you can use Universal Companions.  See here, also:  review.

Also, maybe Kaldor Silverwand might happen by and tell you how to disable the death/rest systems on his mod.  Don't hold me - or him - to this;  I don't know if it's possible, but you might want to glance back in here before you get started.

All of the Makeover options including death and rest can be modified by editing the mo_oc_options.2da file. There is a link on the OC Makeover vault page to a version of that file that already has the settings needed to have rest, death, and item level restrictions behave as they do in the unmodified OC.

Regards
