Scope? I hate scoping it. Makes the recoil issues worse, and is difficult to do with sustained fire guns as you can't really run-and-gun.
And I'm fairly sure it improves hipfire accuracy too.
And most importantly...
Manual recoil control (Quite easy on mouse/controller, but I Imagine it'd be a nightmare on a touchpad though).
Scope has no effect on hipfire accuracy, at least for pistols (there was a test on a Talon on another thread). I would think the same for ARs too.
I recoil control just fine using a touchpad, but I don't like the loss of situational awareness, or the need to be in cover and most of all the fact you have to stay scoped in unlike a SR where you can quickscope to kill and then move on.

Lol, when a gun is "not so special" on a GI it means it plainly sucks.
Exactly. That's my personal benchmark for if a gun needs a buff or not. If I can annihilate with it on the GI, it's fine... if I have to struggle at all... it probably needs a buff.
Examples:
Regular Weapons that annhiliate on a GI but are balanced on everyone else: Tempest, Locust, Graal, GPS, Piranha, GPSMG, Talon, Scorpion, Indra
Regular Weapons that don't annihilate on a GI that feel underpowered overall: Revenant, GPR, Argus, CAR, see a trend here....

Increases the stability and accuracy on the weapon. Again, it's not a good gun but there are ways to make it at least decent.HolyAvenger wrote...

And in my 100s of MP hrs I've aqquired none and only reckognised 1 player from BSN (after we played) lol.Twinkles DeVere wrote...
I'm not quite sure how, but I've accumulated a lot of BSN hard core gamer xbox buddies. All really fun dudes/girls. The only problem is, they're all insanely good and are running around with PPR X's. It's rough on the epeen.lol.
As you're on xbox send a FR my way - it would be nice to play with BSN peeps for change.
And I'm quite out of practice - so I might take the place of being left behind xD

If by skill you mean perfectly cloak, proxy, shoot cycle and aim for the head... yeah I got that part covered...
It's just not good enough compared to literally 20+ different options.

You only have to stay scoped at range. Start at hipfire and briefly scope to the face for quick kills at CQ
But you have made fair points - I can see why you wouldn't like it.

Revenant on gi can fire for 8 consecutive seconds, that are 3 stacks of the prox with together 3 1.5 seconds of 80% boost bursts
No other weapon is capable to dish out so much damage unbroken over time
Ontop, combined with piercing abilities from ammo or piercing mod/barrel you can easily mow down every mook, getting easy killstreaks. Ontop you can kill an prime in a single clip, how does that define a **** weapon?

Because that's my opinion and I'm stickin' to it
It mainly sucks because of the spread, and that it slows you down when you fire it. CAR doesn't slow you down, it's just lacking in damage..

Ooh, long time no see. I haven't seen you in months, someone creates a "Revenant sucks" thread and here you are. Not surprised

The Revenant is not bad, but there are much better weapons. It is absolutely nothing compared to its ME2 brother, though. That gun was like the Harrier with ammo when you put Jack's warp ammo on it.

Stick a scope on it.
I use it with the AP and EB mods on my Destroyer for optimal damage output. Not amazing, but it feels like the general workhorse weapon in my Destroyer's hands. I use it to kill mooks fairly well, and when boss units get in close-mid range I pull out my Piranha (smark choke/HVB) to burn them down.
Yep, the same mods for mine too. Except I use the N7 Crusader Shotgun/Sniper for long range and for bosses. Works well too.

Man I miss that thing. Dunno why they nerfed the Rev so much for ME3 when the Widow and the Claymore are still great.

Lol sure. Same name? I've bumped into quite a few, pretty random considering I don't play nearly as much as some round here.
I have a feeling you'll be fine.
Now I'm preparing for more butthurt.

Seconded. Used him for the Revenant challenge, then ended up using him for any weapons challenge that I felt would be hard to finish and it became easy. GPSMG, Scimitar, etc.
Oh, and I'm assuming HolyAvenger means the old Turian Soldier, since he didn't say Havoc, 'cause that's what I mean.
