Nah, Urdnot is for respect. He did a great job. Maybe some experience cognitive dissonance, but Chris wasn't harsh, so nothing serious.

Maybe they should just add a "Ending Theories" sub forum or something...that's a embarrassing name I came up with ..something more intelligent.

im getting sick of all this idt talk , people should just move on be hyped about me 4 than drag down something thats over now , thank god bioware finally locked it down , we can start something fresh now

No one was forced to post in the IT thread.  If some users want to move on, they do so by not visiting the threads that they have no interest in.  But the ones that still want to talk about IT, even if they're a minority, should still have that option.  Who cares how big a thread gets?  Did the IT theory get too big for all the bandwith on the Internet?

You want to talk about ME4?  Go to the ME4 forum .... which doesn't exist.  In the meantime, we have a ME3 forum for story discussions where we can't discuss the story.

i would love to reply and argue but too happy that idt got shot down , the extended cut was there for a reason , inb4 lock
do what chris suggested make groups and discuss

He told you that you make groups for that kind of talk.

I could go on a rant about separate but equal, but that'd be silly, so I'll just say group disussions suck super hard.

He gives IT a chance to survive in the ghetto. Wahahahaha!

Your eyes and brains are there for a reason and it seems to me that you're not forcing yourself to use them

Restricting something usually has the opposite effect of suppression. Now there's more of a spotlight on IT.

It just confuses me. Was there such a demand to fit more threads about soundtracks and "Jesus=Shepard" that they just had to get rid of excess threads? Were they closing a thread just to say that they did something today?

I mean, can the topic of IT still be discussed in individual threads? If so, then what's really changed besides there now being one less thread?

Only in groups, me and Rasputin already said it here.

Wonder what other kind of talk will be labeled "undesirable" in the near future?

But would you consider it off-topic in these forums?

I have never once felt the urge to invest time into learning details about or even discussing IT. Until today. Now I kinda feel obliged to learn all about it and put subtle remarks to it in each and every post I make from now on.

This whole thing is just mind-boggling...

I just noticed the Mark III thread has more views than any announcement that Bioware has made in the oddly enough announcements section. Closest has around half the number of views.

Yeah, maybe celebrating the end of nonsense. I would personally buy him a drink for it.

It's kind of sad to see you revelling in the ban of a mass effect related topic from an open board.

I would occasionally go to the thread because I like the idea of IT, but it seemed that so much of the discussion wasn't about IT. And 3000+ pages is overwhelming enough even on topic, much less wading through general "Hi how are ya" type posts to get to the meat.

"Lots of speculation" really means "only until your thread gets too big".

We'll have to read the fine print next time.

Who says Bioware cares about the fans anymore? The more they do... the more it is clear they dont' care about the old fans that have been there since the beginning. We keep them from getting that CoD crowd you know...

I never liked IT. It's just unreal. It's like playing a fake game. Endings are real., Bioware made it clear. IT is saying that Shep is hallucinating. I don't think that Bioware released a game that is only partially real. It would've been a giant insult to the customers.

IC-07 that is a bit over emotional over people trying to make an ending more enjoyable to them by creating a narrative that helps fix the mess that was the ending. Whether you like it or not should be irrelevant, since it typically talks about the actual game more then most of the topics on this board.

I personally have no invested interest in the IT, I think if it was intended at its inception it could ahve been a cool twist, but I dont think it was at any point, I think people are just pointing out problems with the written script and trying to make the best of it, in their head. Either way I'm not sure how anyone in their right mind could be literally insulted from such a theory.
