Either the human engineer or the slayer.

First, human because no one wants to be strapped onto a table with medical instruments all around.

Second, the mixed tech classes and anyone using omni-tools are not going to last long because there is such a thing as maintainence. No maintainence no usage. Engineers get a pass since they are ahem ENGINEERS

Third, the teleport dodge is excellent stuff and slayer gets biotic charge which lets you travel anywhere you can lock on to. Not sure if phase disruptor is tech powered by biotics. Anyway you get a free sword

I'd love to be a Shadow because, frankly, SPAAAAAACE NIIIINJAAAAAAAAAA!!!

But I think I'd be better off as the human engineer, armed with her trusty Indra and combat drone. Shocking/burning things to death or, failing that, shooting them between the eyes? Oh yes.

As for the specific class, I can't choose between the base Adept, Justicar and the Huntress! I would favour the Justicar for wearing plate armour instead of commando leathers.

If choosing existing characters, then Paladin. Omni-shield FTW.
