Please post such querries in their appropiate threads. Just trying to keep this a clean, consise method for accessing the curent sever lists. I think it is vital to have such stickeys, and not have people have to wade through dozens, or hundreds of posts to get the information they need to participate in the online NWN community.
P.S. I am certainly looking forward to adding Pain's NL to this list.
*Keeping fingers crosses*
P.P.S. @ Pain? Got a link? I will list it in the OP if so. I was not under the impression this was functional yet (or open to the public), although I have been a bit busy with RL recently...

I don't know what is happening, but a lot of servers are offline in yourserverlist.com and nwnlist.com, but realy are online and i can connect with them with the game. Another server status web (www.iscandar.ch) neither can connect with them.
This happen since yesterday, i think. Skywing master server have the same problem, servers are disappearing from listing!!!
PD: Neverrun have same problem

Not sure what happened there, but seems to be resolved?

Not resolved yet. I noticed the same thing at http://yourserverlis...art=action&ord= yesterday and the problem persists today.
Edit: I should mention that I am checking the World of Greyhawk action server (96.29.255.115:5121), which I know is up and running at the same Direct Connect location. It appears that some other servers are still being updated on the server lists; at least the number of players and the ping times change every so often.

After some investigation, the problem only happen on web pages where listing is based in php direct connection to servers.
http://zhtw.xfire.co...7.161.239:5121/
http://www.iscandar....&template=black
http://yourserverlis...1.239&port=5121
But i don't know why this happens.
With a fsockopen (in php) you can write bytes at server, but the server don´t send any information.
PD: Example is a server what is online, and was listed before without problems.

Maybe some of these servers have set GameSpy Enabled=0 in their nwnplayer.ini? If someone tries to ping the server with a gamespy message (like the PHP sites used to) and it's disabled the server will not respond.and will appear offline..

Indeed, when GS first dropped support to NWN I changed this setting in our ini for our server. And it proved to also delist us from the alternative server listings. I certainly recommend enabling it even though GS is MIA.

Problem solved, i have find a alternative method to read server information, you can use gamespy v2 protocol or use neverwinter nights protocol, this protocol is used to read ingame server information at history or favorite tabs.
PD: This method don't require GameSpy Enabled=1 in nwnplayer.ini

I had the same issue with server status pages not working -
more specifically the UDP listener from nwserver would never bind to a port = therefore there was no UDP listener to respond to the server status request.
http://www.iscandar....&template=black
My own server which is appearing correctly was able to get it resolved by making a hosts change
(Someone on the forums told me to change it to a valid ip)
# Copyright © 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost
8.8.8.8 nwn.master.gamespy.com
8.8.8.8 is googles dns server ip - and I think it is guaranteed to be up 24/7
It seems that if nwn.master.gamespy.com is not connected to within X duration, the UDP listener just gives up, and ends up not being setup on nwserver start up.
If however you fool it into going to a valid IP address, it will bind and listen appropriately to UDP Requests.

Umm... this was supposed to be a quote from virus man... Apparently I don't know how to work these dang new-fangled forums. I certainly had nothing to do with this tremendous effort. I will add the link to the OP once it is finalized.

Related thread for those who do not wish to modify their server setup and still wish to have the server stats posted to NWN listing services. Any services NOT able to read data from a server without some modification to the server read from, THIS is your solution. Contact us and we can discuss the methods.
Server stats posted without nwnx, without changing hosts file.

I really don't understand it... nwnlist.com lists my server without me doing anything, but my php script doesn't work at all. Does anyone have any idea what could be the solution? Thanks!
