Chestnaught looks kinda cool, nothing like his previous form which looked like some fat-troll hedgehog abomination. Delphox is... I mean... he/she looks nothing like I imagined and let's leave it at that.

Greninja looks fu***** bad-ass. That tongue wrapped around his neck like a scarf is a nice touch, it's apparently Water/Dark too, which is fine by me.

Btw, it fits nicely into the whole Knight/Mage/Roque archetypes from RPGs that we all know so well.

I don't think it was mentioned here, but Mega Charizard X is Fire/Dragon.

For those who haven't kept up to speed, here's also everything we know about the Fairy type. It's super effective against Fighting, Dragon & Dark types, not very effective against Fire, Steel & Poison types, while all Fairy type moves can hit all other types. (Unlike say Normal vs Ghost) Defensively, they can take a hit from Fighting Dark and Bug type moves, are weak to Poison and Steel moves and Dragon moves have absolutely no effect on the Fairy type. Pokemon that are pure Fairy include:

Sylveon
Flabebe
Spritzee
Furefewan
Swirlix
Perorimu
And Xerneas.

hybrid Fairy types are:
Jigglypuff (Normal/Fairy)
Marill (Water/Fairy)
Gardevoir (Psychic/Fairy)
Mawile (Steel/Fairy)
Dedenne (Electric/Fairy)

Moves include Baby-Doll Eyes, which has increased priority and lowers Attack, Draining Kiss, which deals damage and restores HP, Fairy Wind which probably just deals damage, Moonblast which deals damage and lowers Special Attack and Geomancy, which deals damage and is exclusive to Xerneas.

Do you think it's worth to buy a 3BS for this Pokemon?

Last Pokémon I played was Crystal. There's double the amount of Pokémon now right?

251 in Gen II I think? More like triple I'm assuming but it should be easily 759.

Yes. Hell the 3DS has some amazing games like Fire Emblem, Shin Megami Tensei and Etrian Odyssey. There's a new Zelda that is messing with the stale formula and Bravely Default Q1 in 2014/

I thought those were all PS/Sony exclusive.

Well, the Personas at least. I guess it refers to other things too...

So will I be lost if I only have access to a fraction of the games from the Megami Tensei series?

I think Chestnaught is my favorite of those three. The mage/rogue/warrior reference is pretty neat.

Actually, Delphox is fire/psychic? That's pretty B.A. I'm going for that one now.

Nope, each game is pretty much a self contained story like Final Fantasy.

I approve of these Pokemon and their types (FINALLY NO MORE FIRE/FIGHTING. For a while, we can only hope).

Pokemon Origins is already out in Japan. Someone has subbed it and put it up for download in HD!

Battles are much quicker and brutal.

I wish there was more info on this game, specifically the differences between Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. The Mega Evolution thing also confuses me, if I have a Charizard and I want Mega Evolve it, does his/ her evolution depend on what game I own, the pokemon'a gender or what evolution item I use, is it a one time evolution or do I have to do it every time in use it in combat, can I evolve to Mega Charizard X in one battle and then Mega Charizard Y in another.

In any case I need to pop down to my local game store and place a pre order for Pokemon X ( so much for my promise to never, ever pre order another game ever again after the ME3 fiasco, I almost missed out on my chance to buy Wind Waker HD because I was to stubborn to pre order it, I got the last copy yesterday in GameStop yesterday).

Well I did some research on the net and i think I was able to answer to own questions. Mega Evolutions are triggered by holding a Mega Stone. Mega Evolution aren't permanent and only last for the duration of a fight. What Charizard and Mewtwo evolve into depends on if they are holding a Mega Stone X or a Mega Stone Y. By the looks of things the X stone is exclusive to Pokemon X and the Y Stone is exclusive to Pokemon Y. A lot of this info wasn't available the last time I went looking for it earlier in the week, I assumed that with Gamefreak clamping down on a lot of the info leaks that a lot of this stuff was being kept secret, apparently it isn't.

The thing about the mega stones I believe was actually officially revealed before these leaks started, IIRC.

Mega charizard vs mewtwo was pretty amazing. I'm pretty much sold on X version after watching that.

That was Epic. The Pokemon fights in Pokemon Origins are a lot more savage and action packed then I remember the ones from the original show being.

Not to mention that they used plot points from the actual games themselves. Hell, that scene with Cubone's mother was bruuutal. I love it - this is the Pokemon I would actually watch.

I can't say I'm a fan of the new starters. Chespin looks the worst out of all 3 of them. I think I might go with Fennekin.

I'm only a few minutes into Pokemon Origins full special, and it is already a million times better than the actual anime.
No goddamn idiot Team Rocket and their annoying incessant scheme to catch mary sue pickachu = win.

Edit:  OMG   CUBONE!!!!  *cries*

I'm really disappointed that Fennekin's evolutios are bipedal. Am I the only one that finds bipedal/humanoid pokemon creepy to "own?"
