Caught a shiny Rattata on Crystal by some grass next to the Daycare. That's all that I can remember right now.

The best part was the Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag soundtrack was released yesterday. I bought it and was listening to it when I first found that image, and the impressive music backdrop accompanying the motivations behind all these villains I've faced before, along with one I have yet to...

It was stunningly dark and reflective.

All the way back on Ruby/Sapphire, Cave of Origin enterance, caught a green Golbat

Being as young as I was and not having access to the internet until about 5 years ago, I had no idea what I had. Then some a***ole told me that it was a game glitch and that I should release it before it crashed my game. I did because he was older, and I didn't know he was an a***ole.

And that is why I generally hate people.

So shiny pokemon are pretty rare then, not just my dumb luck. Good to know. (Having looked it up, without that little animation giving it away at the start of the battle, you probably wouldn't even notice a shiny Scyther, its that similar.)

I remember catching a shiny geodude on emerald. It was gold, i thought it was because i played pokemon gold back then.

It would help if the games actually mentioned the existence of shinies a little more obviously. All I remember is about one npc mentioning something about different coloured pokemon in pearl.

Still, that guy's an ass.

There is an entire city deticated to post-game shenanigans.

There is a Friend Safari, where your friends list is assigned a type, and you can chose said friend, and you will go into that area and find Pokemon of that type. Usually like 2 or 3/ type, but quite a few can be found in there because of the amount of types, even the Kanto starter mid-evolutions.

The Battle Maison, which I still haven't figured out all the little things in there, it's kind of like a Battle Tower, and you can earn Battle Points and turn them in for prizes. There is something involved with friend codes that I haven't tried yet.

And there is the Battle Chateau on Route 7, where you face NPC's in order to gain a title.

If you haven't yet, there are Super Training challeges after you fully train a pokemon, and they will give item rewards, I got a Thunder, Fire, and Water Stone and some Stardust.
