I forgot where I put it, and by the time I remembered, I had Yveltal, Zygarde, and Zapdos, so me having it is no point.

I was going to be nice and send it over Wonder Trade, but I lost faith in those people when I sent a lvl 23 Emolga and got a lvl 1 Pidgey.

You're supposed to catch the legendries on the boxes apparently. If you make them faint they just respawn.

I caught a Gible and that new Gooey Dragon Pokemon with Quick Balls, but both in round two or three after damaging them.

Is it me or are Master Balls pointless outside of catching a shiny?

I mean, I like the challenge of throwing God knows how many pokéballs at a hard to get pokémon instead of making it super easy.

4 or 5, you get it immediately after the Gym Leader, because you get it from the Gym Leader. In a separate battle, but still.

Speaking of, I heard you can only mega evolve once per battle. If I understand that correctly, that means if I were to say mega evolve Charizard and he goes down, I can't substitute him for Absol and mega evolve her during the same fight?

And to your question, only once per battle, and using it on a Pokemon costs that one point, even if the Pokemon faints.
