What's really nice is that someone in the building for the Elite 4 tells you before you go in what typing they use.

The Champion does not use a specific typing however, so watch out for that.

I'm making my way up victory road too, though with mid 60's  and two of my heavy hitters replaced by HM slaves, its taking a while. Going through hyper potions like there's no tomorrow.

Also, I cant stop listening to that remake of the Jubilife city theme that gets played in Snowbelle city. Jazzy.

I sent my Lv 82 Blaziken to the PC for my Lapras of before, because I needed a pokémon that knew Surf.

I ended up making Lapras my HM slave, so it currently knows Surf, Waterfall, Strength, and Sheer Cold.

Just dropped it back in the PC at the Pokémon Center at the summit, got Blaziken back in my party, so now this is what I'm bringing to the fight-

Yeah, it's great.

Not new, the ability to take on the Elite 4 in the order you want was introduced in Black/White.

Ahh, never mind. Still haven't finished Black.

But I DID just beat X.

The Elite Four was insultingly easy given they didn't have six pokémon and I was so high level.

The Champion on the other hand gave me a run for my money for a little bit. She managed to take out half my party(Absol, Lucario, Delphox).

It was actually super badass, Absol used Future Sight, got taken out in one hit, and then later on Future Sight got the afterlife knockout on the pokémon that took Absol out of the fight.

Lucario didn't last long against the next pokémon, neither did Delphox. Charizard held on for a while, switched out for Blaziken, then to Xerneas, then back to Blaziken for the final win.

Which was cool, given the final battle was Mega Gardevoir vs Mega Blaziken.

Then there was what came after, which was easier. But still cool.

I loved the ending to this game. Also of note, Victory Road was miles better than it was in earlier games in that it wasn't just one big ass cave.

Tried the Wonder trade for the first time

Traded an extra Chatot and got a Froakie....... did not expect that.

Holly Damn...

Just caught Yveltal...with one ball. I heard people did it too but i though it was just luck.
Kinda dissapointed too, he isn't really strong, he looks really good though.
Anywho, off to battle the final gym.

I managed to catch Xerneas on the second throw of a Luxury Ball. They likely have high catch rates, since they apparently have to be caught.

The whole ending sequence was just.... awesome. Victory road was varied and challenging. The league itself just exuded atmosphere, the music, the echoing footsteps, the 3D effects in the elite's chambers...

Though, their diifficulty may have been questionable. I had a little trouble with a couple of battles, though my Leafeon annihilated the water trainer. And the champion was a complete joke. My Tyrantrum dealt with everything until falling to a Moonblast from Gardevoir, so Leafeon was up again and that was that.  

That final seqeunce right at the end more than makes up for it though.

Oh, that's pretty cool. Haven't seen many of those. Do you know what Pokémon are available?

That'd be: Kakuna, Gloom, Cascoon, Seviper, Venomoth, Ariados, Swalot, Garbador, Muk, Drapion, Toxicroak and Whirlipede.

The game is easy as **** and has little to zero post-game content. Since I got my 6 perfect pokemon I've done nothing but to fight online.
